“Very much enjoyed my stay here over the New Year's holiday. Beautiful small hotel with personal service, a real luxury experience. Room was comfortable, quiet, and so nicely decorated. Staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful at all times. Great location, in a nice quiet neighborhood but within easy walking distance of many of the main tourist sites and near several different tube stations-- very convenient for anything you want to do in London. Complimentary coffee/tea in the morning and hot chocolate in the afternoon was a nice extra touch. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to London.”

Every detail, every query was dealt with professionalism and in a friendly manner that put us at ease on our special day. The chef, Jack, was happily chatting with us the day before the wedding during setup and our guests are still talking about his incredible food almost two weeks later. We can't wait to return to The Angel to try more from the menu. We also loved seeing the girls behind the bar having a dance and a bit of fun during the reception, the atmosphere was perfect. “Just had a lovely relaxing week stay in a chalet. The accommodation was clean and the facilities were more than adequate for a self catering ho. The location is very idyllic and very remote. Luckily myself and my husband love to walk abd explore the local area by foot. Minehead is along the coast path 3miles - nice and flat but alittle uneven underfoot with plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars. Blue anchor is 2 miles in the other direction and also an easy walk along the costal path, a lovely meal at 'The Smugglers Inn' and 'The DriftWood cafe' was delightful. Dunster village is just 1 mile along the road, a slight hill at the end but not too challanging. We ventured to all these destinations by foot for dinner and found Dunster lacking in eatting options in the evening and best to visit during the day. We will definitely back for another stay soon”

“We got married at Baton Hall in Sept 2023 and I would definitely recommend them. I can’t stress enough how amazing this venue is. The venue itself is beautiful, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. I have to give a special mention to Abi who was our primary point of contact. So many of our guests commented on the venue itself, particularly the beautiful Orangery where the ceremony was held. The food was also excellent. The majority of our guests stayed over and everyone said how happy they were with their rooms, the beds are comfy and the breakfast was excellent. There is a good variety of rooms that accommodated all our guests from accessible rooms, to adjoining rooms and additional ‘pop up’ beds where they were needed. My wife stayed the night before and made use of the garden spa which she said was absolutely lovely. We have also eaten here when we had meetings with suppliers and the food from Vines is excellent. I would recommend Barton Hall for a wedding without hesitation, but also just for some food or a nights stay. We will definitely be returning.”

Great thanks to Charlie, Zack and Corey for keeping the drinks flowing at the bar. These guys need a pay rise for the work they do. Couldn't ask for better bar staff and waiters. Everyone seems to work really hard and put in more than should be expected. The food is good, but it does seem to depend on who is cooking it. Some nights seemed better than overs. The rooms are average. Could probably do with some improvements but if all you need is a clean and comfy bed then it's spot on. I will probably be back again. The breakfast buffet is good. The quality of the sausages and bacon are top. I look forward to my next visit.”

“Never been before but as soon as I entered the bar area I liked it. Nice decor, comfortable, light, airy and clean. We ordered drinks and some food in the bar. Food was fine. Staff were great and attentive and friendly. It was quiet when we went,whic I prefer. The glasses were clean but the pitcher jug looked a little grubby so 1 star down for that! I have a thing for clean glassware! My kind of place and I'd definitely go again. It was nice at the time of our visit not to have noisy kids, loud people - or dogs, (don't think they're allowed here), which these days it's hard not to encounter! The staff we had contact with were super! I'm sure this place would be nice to stay overnight.”
