“What a fantastic campground! The location is top notch, right along the beach and close to downtown. Our site was spacious. The bathrooms were big and clean... but the showers were outstanding!! The pressure was out of this world! We also enjoyed the trails. There was one that was more tame, and one that was more strenuous... but what a view!!! Can't wait to come back!”

“It was a long weekend visit for me, however my husband and 12 yo are up for 10 days. Upon my arrival Fri evening, the golf cart parade went thru and was followed by an all ladies "Hey ride" and it was so fun. The cabins look amazing!! And there are cabins for different size groups! The main lodge had a restaurant/bar; indoor pool and hot tub, along with the convenience store. I'm guessing maybe 8-10 rooms on the 2&3rd levels with an elevator. Staff were all very friendly and always busy. It wouldn't surprise me to learn they were short staffed, but every time I saw staff, they waved or had a smile on their face. My kid took part in the kids charter. I think they had boats/pontoons you could rent as well. I'd recommend this place to others without any hesitation. I also don't know the rates, as my husband took care of that.”

“We stopped at here for the night after traveling about 15 hours from Ohio. It was our first RV and campground experience and everything was really nice! The people were very friendly and showed us our spot for the night. The campground was quiet and clean, with full hookups. It was a little ways off the highway but not too far. The perfect place to stop for the night. I would highly recommend!”

“We just love this place! Always clean, quiet, but most of all the whole park has huge, mature tree cover which we love. Full hook ups, available to handle bigger rigs too. It's situated by a lake which just adds even more visual appeal. Bathrooms are large, with big shower stalls. The only "down side" is no WiFi except at the office area. They do have a nice outdoor deck where you can sit and make use of it. Fairmont has beautiful lakes and parks and has a small town "charm." I highly recommend Flying Goose campground.”

“Loved this campground. Had a full hook up site the first night. Due to a scheduling problem, we had to move the second night to a site that had only electric . It was unfortunate, but the resort refunded our money for the first site, and we still had a great time. You can walk right on the shore of Lake Superior, and picnic tables are scattered about and fire pits for bonfires after dark. Dog friendly, great playground, and the showers are big, powerful, and clean. You can also fill water containers at the shower house. Would recommend this place.”
