“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was big and clean and one thing that I liked the most was that there are motion activated lights on the bottom of the bed for when you get up ij the middle of the night and see where you are walking. The service was fast and amazing, we ordered a margarita pizza and it was delicious. The valet workers were so nice and they made sure to take good care of the cars. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and I will definitely come back for another night.”

“Our stay was great! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They actually looked at the preferences in my profile. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked. There were people working to maintain a welcoming exterior (landscaping). This was a family trip so we had kiddos with and the cleaning staff was great...non intrusive, yet they checked with us daily to see if we needed anything. We did not use the pool or gym so I can't speak to that.”

“Went back to Minneapolis to visit my family just before Christmas. The Moxy Uptown is a Marriott hotel and one of the few hotels in Uptown. It's easy to get to from the airport and has an attached parking garage which I believe is free however I didn't have a rental so I am not 100% sure. I would call it a self-serve hotel but not a cheap hotel. The front desk is at the bar which is very popular in Uptown located right when you walk in the hotel. There was a huge party going on there when I got in so incredibly loud and I was concerned my room would be loud but it wasn't. The lobby is very hip and I posted pictures of it. It's a five-story hotel and I had a great view of Uptown from the fifth floor. The room was smaller than I expected, it reminded me of a European hotel with a bed lower to the ground. The only picture I have of the room is the guitar that was on the wall which my daughter thought was really cool. It didn't have a closet, it had hooks on the wall but they provided hangers for the hooks and the steamer instead of an iron which I like much better. The bed was comfortable and it had a big screen TV although I didn't watch much. The bathroom was really nice with a huge walk in shower but no tub. If you wanted maid service you had to request it daily. The big disadvantage of the room is it does not have a refrigerator so if you have any food from a restaurant there's nowhere to put it. They have 24/HR self service food that is really snacks and drinks but at a very low cost and are healthy. They do have free coffee. There is not a restaurant in hotel but tons really close by. Would I go back there?Yes, for the location primarily. You just can't beat the location. The staff was very nice and checking in and out was a breeze. I would get a bigger room next time.”

“We loved our stay. Upon arrival, we asked if we could upgrade our unit and they had no problem accommodating. Our room was clean, we had a kitchen and a deck. The outdoor and indoor pool were both awesome. This property is very well taken care of. They had a court yard with outdoor yard games and live music at night. Their restaurant on site is also top notch. I’d recommend staying here to anyone!!”

A kitchen with desk/table, living room, and separate bedroom with outlets in lamps, Large TV and closet in bedroom. Beds comfortable. Great bathroom. The coffee maker is single serve. In morning go down for breakfast/coffee. Sorry we did not get to use pool/hot tub. Spent time with friends. Kudos to Teresa for making you feel welcome. “Rooms were clean and had a modern look. The bed was very soft and comfortable, so we're the pillows. The layout of our room was different. We had a two queen or full size beds with a pullout couch and kitchen area. It was definitely a cramped area with all that and I would say you could only have 3 or 4 people comfortably even though the room could sleep 6. The staff seemed overwhelmed. We called for directions to the parking garage and it was very confusing. I would definitely get clarification on that before you arrive if you aren't familiar with the area. We ended up in thr wrong one and paid double the cost. The breakfast here is terrible. There was a mix of cold and cold items but they weren't being refilled and what was there was a low quality.”

“We chose this location for a girls trip and were all impressed with this resort. The townhouse was beautifully decorated with high end features throughout. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious. It was great to have so many bathrooms for all of us to get ready for the day! We had everything we needed and really enjoyed having coffee in the screen porch in the morning and taking in the view of the lake just steps from our door. Even has an indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna - highly recommend! Loved the downtown shops, Carlos Winery and Lure restaurant. Can't wait to go back!”

Being able to compare the 2 locations, the location by MOA seemed almost brand new. Our King Suite room was spotless. At this location, the King Suite layout was similar but not quite as nice as the other, plus you could tell it was dated and also had a bit of an odor to it. BEWARE, there if no free parking around here. You have to park in a lot for $10 per day.”
