“I don't drink coffee so I don't myself in coffee shops often. This one is easily one of my favorites, though. I typically come here to meet up with friends or get something to go. Most recently I was catching up with a friend and got a vanilla chai tea and a buttered croissant (there were several baked goods available [donuts, muffins, etc.]). I got my order "for here" so I received it on nice plates. The tea was the perfect temperature and the croissant hit the spot! Staff were incredibly welcoming and I've never had a bad experience. I'm thankful that Quixotic is my local coffee shop and I look forward to finding more reasons to visit. Easy 5 stars from me!”

“Every time we happen to come to this town...we always have to stop in to Area 57. The place is welcoming and comforting. We can't get enough of their food and coffee. They usually have lunch and supper specials for a good price! You can choose from basic or specialty coffee in a wide variety of flavors. Their pies are to die for and we usually always get one to go! Plus the staff is always friendly making this a great place to stop!”

“I love this place so much! My bestie lives in the area and told me it was a bucket list item to have coffee with me here. It did NOT disappoint. We each had a coffee flight (yes you read that correctly), four of their iced coffees and they were delicious. The flavors change monthly I believe, but no worries, they all sound delicious. So please stop and enjoy a fantastic cup of coffee, tea or wine and enjoy the ambience of this magical place! Update: I liked it here so much I had to come back and try their Downtowner coffee drink! Nothing but perfection in that cup! Also, since my husband and I came in late, 2:50pm….sorry you guys! We were able to meet Kim and the owner, Nick. Such sweet people who are truly excited to see you walk in the door no matter what time it is. Thanks again you guys for giving us coffee lovers a great cup of love and a fantastic place to enjoy it!”

“Wow, what a great cafe with so many options! I ordered two iced lattes, one honey one lavender, an orange blueberry almond cake and a cardamom bun. The lattes was exquisite, the espresso was not bitter at all, and the flavors were the perfect amount of sweet. The cake was moist and delicious. I would not order the cardamom bun again, just a little dry and I couldn’t finish it. The baristas here are truly artists! Great options for non coffee drinkers as well. They have a large outdoor patio, and good indoor seating. When I went (10am) they were packed (a good sign), and I had to park a little ways away.”

“cute and spacious with lots of tables. Outlets on both sides of the coffee bar and free wifi, and fun, soft music going on in the background. Gets a little loud/crowded around 11, not overly loud but a bit distracting. There is a kind of strong burning smell, but I stopped noticing it after like 5 minutes. The coffee tasted delicious, flavors are great and its so well made. I like to get the seasonal flights flight, I think either the sTrawberry Shortcake Crunch Latte or the Choco Taco Mocha were my favorites in the summer and the stroopwaffle latte was my favorite fall one..”

“I came here everyday. and I ordered custom drinks. Today, I very upset with the employee. I ask him "Can you try to remake it? Because it is not correct" He said I just make what is on the cup. “Coffee is good. As others have noted, the service can be a bit slow and the price for a plain cup of coffee is a bit high. Frequently seems understaffed. Rarely find a cream or milk dispenser available to customers. COVID issue?? Worst part of the experience, however, is that the shop is rarely more than about 55F during the winter. Bring a coat to wear while you are drinking your coffee, if you plan to dine in.”
