“Having moved here 9 months ago I was told that Kroger was best for shopping. The canned goods, frozen items, produce, etc compare with any supermarket. Where they fail is their bakery and deli. Firstly, just today the deli glass is dirty as if smeared with a wet dirty towel. Not stocked with premade salads in the morning nor afternoon. Very dark corner with nothing to draw you in. The bakery doesn't have specialty rolls, croissants, larger cupcakes, nor smaller fresh cakes. These two departments need attention. In the meantime, I'll head to Ingles or Publix it'll be worth the trips!”

“How is there never anyone at the deli?after 20 minutes of waiting, I called the store and spoke to a manager to ask about when someone would be back in the department. He said he didnt know and would page over the intercom. He did come over the intercom and say that assistance was needed in deli, and shockingly, no one came. Now theres a line of irritated customers and no sign of any employees.”

I would suggest that they could take out the clothing section to add more food, but again, I'm sure the shelves would be bare. So I guess that's the one thing they do have, clothes. They have also revamped the front quarter of their store to showcase their cheap wine which always seems to be stocked. Because when I think of Kroger, I think of cheap wine and clothes...”

“The night crew there is a hassle to deal with. They are all very rude and clearly want the customers out of the store. I totally understand that, but as I was checking out 20 minutes before close (which, if you’ve ever worked in retail at all, that’s plenty of time before closing for a customer to be checking out…). Walking into the store, the young lady collecting carts rudely cut us off before grabbing a buggy. That takes two seconds to do, and she stood there for easily 3-4 minutes and looked at me many times while standing there trying to get a buggy. I gave her a smile, trying to be friendly and she didn’t even speak a word to me. TERRIBLE customer service right from the get go on this trip. Then, as I’m navigating the app deals and store shelves, I’m finding that a LOT of my items and sale choices were not matching up in store. I’ve dealt with this many times at this specific Kroger and the employees, daytime or nighttime, are always rude about it. Anyway, as we got to self checkout 20 min before close, we were trying to hurry as to not be a bother to the employees trying to go home. My husband couldn’t see the screen at self checkout said “closed” and I tried telling him the light was off but he really couldn’t hear me over chatter in the store. Apparently, the young lady manning self checkout on 9/26 even told him it was closed but again, he couldn’t hear; but as he got to that register he heard her make smart remarks to him like “alright then, whatever” because she assumed he was ignoring him? VERY insensitive and rude to say something like that. What if he were an actually audibly impaired person? That’s ridiculous behavior from CUSTOMER SERVICE employees and I truly hate shopping at this store so I guess I’ll just boycott it after that employee smarted off to my husband. There is only one employee at this Kroger that’s EVER been friendly and it’s the cashier with short short dark hair and southern accent. She’s always so friendly but I haven’t seen her lately so I guess I’m just done with this store. Bad, bad, bad customer service.”

“Had to wade through a group of 6 or 7 employees smoking and blocking the sidewalk in front of the store. All were engrossed in a conversation and in their cigarettes while blowing a huge cloud of smoke in the faces of all trying to shop. Had to step into the street to try to avoid them as they were blocking the sidewalk in front of the store. Rude, disgusting, and indifferent are the words that come to mind. More than this is the fact of the health hazard it presents for people like me who have a heart condition. I complained to a clerk at customer service and got a bored and offended look for my trouble. She obviously didn't want to be bothered. Don't come here if you're expecting courtesy, they don't know what the word means.”

“So I was there 9-7-23 approximately 8pm and when I went to the self checkout area, 4 different staff members just stood there staring at me as if I didn't belong there. They stood there and watched me struggle with ringing up one of items, because the scanner was acting funny. Finally, someone came over and helped me. Even after I paid, they all still stood there pretending like they weren't watching. They're a bunch of bad actors. Then I approached one of them to ask a question and she hesitated to acknowledge me and then in a very low unpleasant tone uttered yes and refused to make eye contact with me, dismissive of me. If you roll back the cameras you'll see. If you treat people like there is something wrong with them, it inspires them not to return. If you treat people like they're young and black, it hurts their feelings. I didn't do anything wrong, they just were very unwelcomingly of me.”

I don't like having to travel to Bristol to get vegan items (especially the mac and cheese) when this target is local. I've never had an issue with this store in terms of cleanliness, customer service, and quality. It is a great smaller target but provides big store customer service. I recently had to do a return and the store agents were very professional throughout the entire process.”

You can’t have the table and a buggy on each side of the table at the register expecting people to buy more stuff. You can’t get past the tables when a spot opens. Am I suppose to push the table out of the way with the buggy. Tables required by corp office? whoever made that rule should resign.”
