“This hotel is beautiful! It has every amenity and the service is amazing. The hotel has gardens and a beautiful walk path along the ocean. We got to see a seal jump and catch a fish. There is a cute restaurant called the Locals for the hotel. We didn't eat there though. The pool was so nice, the water was room temperature. It was not cold but not warm either. The hot tub was nice too. It was a beautiful experience!”

“So I really want to love this place. If you plan to stay up several days within the cottages, then it's fine. Because there's a pool, there's hot tub, there's mini golf and a lot of other amenities such as a tennis court, volleyball court, a little market and restaurant. The only reason I can't love it is because of the 30 minute drive. It takes from the bottom of the mountain to the cottages. If you plan to go anywhere at all, it takes 30 minutes to get down the mountain in a windy, narrow road, that has goats and deers on it. If you don't plan to drive a lot, then this place will be great. The little marketplace where you order food is pretty amazing, the service is quite great and the food is reasonable on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. There's a Taco Tuesday and a wings Wednesday”

The Surf Club, next door, is a hassle free places to grab boards, suits, etc. and having a beer in their hot tub après surf was nice.”

The restaurant has a fantastic seafood menu and we enjoyed the crab dinners. The 5km logging road was well worth the drive to this fantastic location, just have to drive slowly. “An amazing place, right across from Function Junction and breweries in a quiet area, 10-15 min drive to the main Whistler Village, regular public transit bus stop to Whistler located outside, public transit is wheelchair accessible, clean, friendly staff. Booked wheelchair accessible room and it was excellent. Wide door, Roll in shower, roll under sink, lots of space for wheelchair and accessories around the bed, elevator access. Private attached accessible washroom was amazing and made the trip possible. Carpet and one or two little transitions about 1.5 inches high through doorways. Bed is very low to ground so be prepared for uphill transfers out. Jostle mattress so be ready for that. Overall a great inclusive and enabling experience.”

“Everything about this hotel is awesome including the front desk associate Steffi! However, they lack terribly on one aspect; Breakfast. We would be hesitant to book with them in future as it is very mediocre, not the level of a Best Western, let alone a Plus. We stayed here for 3 nights and everyday they were missing common breakfast options. No boiled eggs, there is cream cheese but no bagels, apple juice machine didn’t work, no muffins. Hotels run out of things which is understandable but that wasn’t the case here. On the first day, I spoke with the front desk and requested them to have these things for the remaining days as these are a standard, also requested to speak with the manager as this is a convenience factor when we book a hotel with breakfast. The Manager didn’t care to follow up with us and instead informed his staff to discount our pricing by $10 per person. I am sorry but if price was a factor, we wouldn’t have booked this place. It’s the fact that you are carrying a brand name and adding PLUS to your hotel, but without the standards that it comes with. I hope they’ll consider this as a feedback and improve on it. We’ll certainly consider staying here in future if they can get this one factor improved. We have stayed at other Best Western Plus locations as close as Prince George, their service including Breakfast is top notch, a little bit of collaboration may help here.”

“Not what you think it's going to be. Better in some ways. Worse in a few more. Not really worth the money, but given the huge boom on resort type properties in the area there aren't really many other good options either. Ample. It's enough. Not the best value for the money due to greedy rental unit operators and awkward VRBO/AirBnB interactions. Condo size was nice to have and was clean. The location is great. Traffic in Kelowna is brutal. Would probably go back again, but be much more choosy and selective. The kids loved this place. I had issues with the parking. Great proximity to the beach. Decent pool. Well located near expensive food stores in a high priced gasoline province with excessive taxes. Be sure to book yourself a boat ride with Captain Nick at Surf City, it was a highlight of our family vacation.”

“Gorgeous seaside cabins on the most sheltered west-facing beach in town. Self check-in was easy and winter deals are unbeatable! The cabin itself had a well stocked bathroom and kitchen, and it's an easy 20 minute walk into town for groceries. I travelled solo, but it would also be comfortable for two couples to share as the rooms are spacious and the communal middle floor is very comfortable. The beach was very calm and peaceful, with interesting things to look at. I highly recommend you take a cold plunge (checking tides and safety, of course) even in winter. There were also seals in the bay and eagles everywhere! From the cabin, the lighthouse loop is very accessible and makes for an interesting and easy morning walk, or if you're feeling more adventurous you can head north along the coast and do the Pacific Rim and Ancient Cedars trails. If you're a light sleeper, just consider bringing earplugs in case of foggy weather as the lighthouse foghorn seems quite loud at night.”
