“Photos of the good boys at the vet - I muzzle my dog for his and staff protection (: We just moved to Tennessee, and I was nervous about finding a vet (having worked in the field) that would be good. We got REALLY lucky first try. We’ve been twice, once for routine vaccines and heartworm things, and once for what could have been an emergency. Both times everyone was SO nice. The hospital is immaculate, the front and back staff are all lovely, and the doctors are so nice. Their willingness to slow down and answer my questions is great. Not once did I feel rushed even tho I had about a million questions after moving from the west coast.”

We have multiple dogs and cats and they take care of all of them, we trust their recommendations as they have always provided great care. The staff are always friendly and great with our pets! Even when we moved closer to Chattanooga, we still take our pets here and always will!”

“I have been going here for years. The last time I went I was told Dr. Reese (the best Dr. We have ever had because he REALLY cared) left. That made us pretty upset. I'm sure they have other fine Dr.s but he was special. He told us what was best for our pups even if they didn't carry it or provide it. I feel like some vets always try to sell you things to make a goal or something but he was better than that. I wish all vets cared like he did. As for the other staff, they are fine. They have some vet techs that I never want to see again due to poor attitude or bad quality of care for our pups. I still choose to go here because we have good experience most of the time you can't beat the location. Some people have pets and some people have members of their family that have fur, and that's us. My dogs are my children and I want the best for them. I hope in the future you guys are able to find people to care for the communities extended fur families because they care and love animals not just because they are there for a pay check.”

“The vet and techs were amazing. I took my cat in the middle of a crazy snowstorm, and they found cancer. It was too far gone, so we had to let him cross the rainbow bridge. They were so sympathetic, and that showed me they really care for the animals.”

Ashland Terrace Animal Hospital

“Excellent staff and facility. The entire group has the attention to detail that you hope to find at a vet's office. They've taken care of all our furbabies, and unfortunately, our 17 year old kitty had to be put down due to failing kidneys. They are unbelievably respectful and kind in all their dealings with our babies. Can't say enough about these guys. If you want true care for your furbabies, go to these guys' hands down.”

“This is the Best veterinary doctor and staff in East Tennessee. My dog Sadie had a problem with one eye and with the schedule already booked and it being a Friday Dr Sander didn’t want Sadie to go the whole weekend with a problem with her eye. So Angelina worked her in the schedule and since Sadie is a weimer she’s high strung I was able to keep her outside and the majority of the evaluation was completed outside so less stressful. They’re all very professional and understanding. I just want to say thank you”

“I am a bit unhappy with the care we received here recently. We’ve been here numerous times and have only had great experiences, but our most recent experience was not one of them. My dog presented symptoms of a sinus infection and was given an antibiotic to treat it over the next week or so. When he wasn’t making significant improvements, (still sneezing blood, still labored breathing, really all original symptoms sticking around), I looked up the antibiotic. Everything I read said it is great for skin infections, but not for this. I didn’t want to be one of those Google doctors, and I assumed the vet knew best and just continued giving it to him. Five days later, no improvements. I took him to a new vet, and they were just as confused about the prescription as I was. She said the antibiotic we got is never on their roster for this kind of illness, and that it is not typically for this type of issue. They also completed a much more thorough examination of his ears, nose, and throat. We left with new medication including a different antibiotic and an oral steroid. Less than 24 hours since we left that vet, my dog is no longer bleeding from his nose, he’s breathing normally, he slept through the night without so much as a sneeze, and he’s running around the yard like nothing is wrong. I am usually extremely satisfied with the care from WCAH, but am really disappointed with this experience. I am happy to come back for emergencies because the majority have been treated thoughtfully. But it does feel extremely frustrating that my dog had to experience five days of this simply because of what seems like a careless choice of treatment.”

“Dr. Hollis is the best!! He has been my dog's veterinarian for 13 years. Dr. Hollis truly cares about his patients and their well being. He is patient with me and takes the time to explain, along with providing a helpful written summary of the visit. Debbie, Mary and the rest of the office staff are always kind and helpful as well! My dog is 16 years old now. Hoping for more years with my dog and with Dr. Hollis!”

“All About Animals was wonderful. We are from out of town and had an emergency with our mini schnauzer puppy. The staff was wonderful to get him in right away, find the reason, then treat him and keep him all day for observation. They sent us home with a happy, healing puppy. We were lucky to find them.”

“Besides neglecting to tell us that we had to bring our dogs up to date records when we dropped them off to board them, and refusing to take them leaving us scrambling to find someone to take care of them at the last minute and the rude lady at the front desk (G), everything was great! They get a Gold Star!”

Copeland Veterinary Hospital

“they're the worst vet in town and they will go out of their way to encourage you to kill your pet through euthanasia no matter what the problem is with your pet. Mine had pneumonia and the overnight doctor that they connected me to initially tried to refuse me service because I had had a bad experience there before 20 years ago. After I called back several of the people I talk to basically were just like "well it's all about quality of life" and tried to get it me to kill my cat. I guess it's easier to make money for doing nothing than it is to do something. Overall they're the worst vet I've ever seen. Yesterday they, while I was there, admitted that they didn't do anything to my cat or give him any treatment for one solid day. No x-rays, no food, no water. They actually told me to bring in food to see if he would eat because they didn't know if he had eaten anything since I brought him in. They seemingly ignore the duty of care clause in the Hippocratic oath which states that once they agree to actually perform a procedure they have to finish with that procedure unless you refuse to pay which we did not. They did however seemingly also ignore the law in Tennessee that says that you can't estimate something and then re-estimate it and not inform the people who are being forced to pay it prior to the reestimation of price. They raised our price roughly $1,000 and then tried to threaten retribution by not letting us come back for our checkups that are legally mandated by that oath. Basically their office manager is one of the worst people I've ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. She also claimed that she had dealt with me at flat veterinary clinic and I've never seen this woman in my life until today, so I'm not really sure what she's talking about. I've never in my life had a bad experience with or at Flatt veterinary clinic so she must be very very confused much like she was earlier today clearly. Avoid this horrid place at all of costs, and the cost will probably change by about a third higher. Had the only good doctor there not noticed that they hadn't even bothered to give him an x-ray yesterday and that he was looking at the same x-ray he did on Tuesday we would have never known they didn't do an x-ray on Wednesday at all because I'm going to suspect that the doctor no longer felt like he was the doctor in charge of my cat because I told him I preferred the other doctor because he had prior knowledge of his condition. That doctor was out of town that day having an appointment of his own so the main doctor just apparently didn't care but I have no way of knowing what happened because they really basically only tell you anything once a day and don't really care to try any harder than that. On the days that my cats regular doctor was there my cat looked and acted 100% better than he did on the day that my cat was not taken care of by the same doctor. He also did not seem like he felt as good the next day and my doctor was very confused by this, as am I. Now they come on and try to passive aggressively act like it is my fault they (the one Dr. and some people in the back seemed to not do their job while his normal Dr was out of town). They are making all Flatt customers pay the fees of Copeland now.... and the remodel just keeps going on. Your rude office manager had really no choice but to remove the $700, as that was the violation of the state estimate law. To raise the price that much you would have had to have written a new estimate and we would have both had to sign it. You violated standards and practices of a vets office in almost every way. Don't respond to people like it is outrageous for you to follow the law and your oath. I don't exceptional expectations, I expect you to do your jobs, not make fun of us while we are there and charge the cost we are told, or don't blame us for your slip up - which it was. You make the estimates, not me. So attentive his nose was stopped up to point of his panting and mouth breathing again. He died tonight. Every pet I have ever taken their dies shortly after”
