“Lunch specials were pretty tasty. I had fried pork chop with mashed potatoes and green beans, and although the latter were most likely canned beans, someone in the kitchen knew how to kick them up. Hubby also had fried pork chop with mashed potatoes but opted for greens (likely frozen turnip greens) and black-eyed peas. I tried the Ghost River Gold which was good, especially as I prefer much darker beers. Festive, lots of regulars, friendly, easy parking. Reasonable prices. We'll be back to check out the live music.”

It was a chilly Saturday night, and the place was packed, dimly lit, and cozy. It was quite loud and the tables were a bit sticky 🙄 however, I loved my time. I got a cocktail named clementine. It was made with orange juice, and vodka and some other stuff. It had some kick in it, for real. My other friends were also saying that their drinks were quite strong. Finding a parking can be an issue as Saturday nights can be a busy time in the cooper young area.”

We liked the live music upon walking in and enjoyed the view from the rooftop. We sat more towards the inside since outside had no seating. We ordered a couple drinks, an appetizer and a dessert. Everything was super good. Since it’s so close to home, I will try to come again and order different things.”
