Co Rd 406, Kingston, AR 72742, United States

“We had a unique experience coming here but overall would recommend! The road to get here was not what we expected- it was a dirt road that was extremely steep, bumpy and close to the edge of the mountain in some areas (this bumpy drive up the mountain was about 25-30 minutes). We didn’t mind but some people in our group had to turn around in their vehicle. We also didn’t realize that the walk in the woods was going to take as long as it did and that there wasn’t a clear walking trail- definitely not a walk for older individuals. Despite all of this, the view was breathtaking and totally worth it. I guess we didn’t do enough research before we went!”

Glory Hole Falls

Ozone, AR 72854, United States

“We went after a snow event and knew the water was frozen. It was also a very difficult hike to the bottom and out. The trail was a sheet of ice with six inches of snow. There were two incidents in two days, a broken leg and ankle. Be careful if you are hiking in the winter. I can't wait to go back in the spring and summer. It was spectacular.”

Lake Atalanta

Rogers, AR 72756, USA

“A wonderful lake with an excellent path around the entire perimeter. The stream that leads into the lake are perfect for my dog to het water and cool off, however, be cautious that the water in the lake itself is rather stagnant. I recommend going in the morning when around 6:15 am to get the best view of the sunrise.”

“Awesome park and protects a beautiful river! The Cossatot is a river that starts in the Ouchitas and is protected all along this park, so it is 100% natural. I went when there wasn’t much rain and the water was still going quick. Definitely will come back to whitewater kayak”

Albert Pike Recreation Area

Nfw 106, Umpire, AR 71971, United States

“Drive slow on the gravel roads for some of the further trails. I had to scoot over for another car to pass me and it's very narrow so my car tire was sliced by a rock on the mountain side so I had a blowout and then had to drive back through gravel on my rim and lost control of brakes because of this luckily made it to a safe spot but no cell service so I waited for someone to stop and luckily 5 minutes later good Samaritans stopped to help me get my donut on. I am so thankful to them!!! They got me back on the road safely!!! I also helped a turtle get across the road safely!”

Crystal Vista
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Mt Ida, AR 71957, United States

“You gotta work for it but it was so worth it! We visited 3 different companies plus crystal vista. While the mile hike uphill was awful, the larger pieces we found were incredible. By far my favorite location as far as return on investment. Definitely not easily accessible and there's no restrooms but still so worth it.”
