“On Thursday, 12/1, on a trip from Dallas to Syracuse I stopped over at the Hampton Inn North Little Rock for the night. The hotel was amazing! Entire facility was clean and modern, the rooms were in like new condition and the beds were incredibly comfortable! Breakfast in the morning had a large assortment of choices, all cooked to perfection. Every one of the staff who we encountered were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this property again! Thank you for a great night!”

“As soon as I booked the room through Hilton Honors, the price through all the other sites literally dropped $20 below what I just paid. I had checked those same sites before booking. So irritating. I kept waiting for my electronic key as we were coming in late. It never came. Had to go to the front desk and she said oh yes they don't work. Then why advertise it for that specific location? Took the keys up and they didn't work. We back down 3 floors with my arms full of stuff. Clerk said oh yes, it's just sticky and went up to show us the little truck to get in. I was pretty irritated at this point. However, she was as nice as could be and as helpful as she could be. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds and linens were comfortable and we all slept well which isn't something I do when traveling. Breakfast that was provided the next morning was really good the first morning. The employee in charge didn't seem like she wanted to be there and wasn't welcoming or helpful. The second morning it was not good. Most things were empty, the biscuits were way over done and there was well over an hour left to go. The person just stood there with trash cans overflowing and didn't refill anything or greet anyone. Most things were empty and several guests left without eating. The area for dining was clean and appealing and comfortable. The other employees we encountered were more than pleasant and courteous and seemed to be really engaged in their jobs. That was refreshing!”

“Really nice. The amenities here are great; fridge in the room, laundry, and an indoor pool. Room is very clean, bed is comfortable and everything is organized. We are traveling across the country right now & have a decent amount of stuff, but there is room and then some for all of it in here! We are also traveling with a service animal and the surrounding area of the hotel is great for dogs. Very pet friendly. 15 or so minutes outside of downtown Little Rock, but has a mall and tons of stores and restaurants within a 2 mile range. If we are ever staying in this area again, we’d pick this hotel!”

“I was totally blown away by this hotel. I’ve been a salesman for Wyndham brand hotels so I know a little bit about the business, and this hotel for 75 bucks a night offered incredible value. The pool and spa were sparkling and clean. My room was clean and spacious with all the amenities. I could possibly think of, and even the breakfast, which I normally will not even eat at a hotel was delicious.”

“Oh my, this is a sad Holiday Inn. Relatively rundown compared to Holiday Inn of old. My room had old thin sheets, bed was rock hard, and the heater was so loud it woke us when it kicked on in the night. It was raining outside and the ceiling vent outside the bathroom door was dripping and created a pool outside the bathroom door that I discovered in the dark. The vent was rusty and had obviously been a problem for a long time. The bathroom ceiling was splotchy with significant mildew. The bath faucet did not work without shoving it in with all your might and finding a comfortable water temp was a guessing game, otherwise the handle was just a spin toy. Thin bath towels. Bare necessities. I could not get onto the WiFi even using their instructions. I would not recommend this hotel. I got the impression they were in dire straits with the budget. Too bad. Hate to see Holiday Inn in such ill-repair. Oh, also, very curious what the two areas of red spray droplets on the back of the bathroom door were, given the bathroom was all beige and nothing painted red anywhere…”

“I have never stayed in a hotel that was in as bad of shape as this hotel is. On their website it says "For a refreshing weekend getaway or a fun family vacation..." There was nothing refreshing or fun about this place. The first floor was closed for renovations. The first thing I saw when entering was the long hallway or rooms where all the mattresses were bare and leaning up against the wall. That should have been my first clue to get out of there but it was 1:00 in the morning and I was tired. When I entered my room there was a very strong musty, damp smell. It was overpowering! I went to bed and woke up wheezing. After working all day, I returned to find mattresses as well as the carpets from the rooms lining the halls of the second floor starting right outside my room. I immediately packed up and told the front desk about my concerns. I requested they do not charge for the second night of my reservation. I was told that it was too late to cancel. I have attempted to contact the manager but have not been able to get in contact with her (Melissa). I will continue to try until I know I am refunded that second night's fee. Good for this hotel for doing renovations but it is just not healthy for people to be staying there right now.”
