“Boulevard Bread Co. is a fixture of the Pulaski Heights neighborhood of Little Rock — deservedly popular for its excellent sandwiches, bread, soups, salads, not to mention its bakery with outstanding bread and a deli counter with an array of good cheeses, olives, cakes, cookies, brownies, and so on. For lunch, you order at a counter when you walk in and staff bring your food to your table. Evening meals have wait staff coming to the table and taking your order, with daily specials that are usually scrumptious. The atmosphere is pleasant, though the cavernous dining area and the loud conversations at many tables can make the place raucous and impede conversation. There's a small parking lot, but spaces can be at a premium at lunch time. There is, however, ample parking on nearby side streets and at two other parking lots only half a block away. I highly recommend the tuna paninis (pictured in one of my photos below), smoked turkey sandwiches, and the vegan hummus sandwich. Friends dote on the pastrami sandwiches. A few years ago, I took visitors from Los Angeles to lunch at Boulevard, and they offered high praise, indeed, coming as it did from sophisticated LA to little Little Rock: they said that they'd eat there every day if they lived in Little Rock. A bonus in summertime is a table in the deli-bakery section of Boulevard offering locally grown ripe tomatoes during the tomato season.”

“This place is flat out rude and the place is disgusting. As a customer if you pay money to eat at any establishment, your money should be valued . The staff looked at me as if I was scum . You know when you’re being talked about when the people switch from English the their own language . I know this a supposed to be an affordable resturant for family and friends but NEVER in my life have I been treated this way . I wish I could say the food was very Nonhigenic and very poor . Chicken taste like rubber , the rice was stale to where you can use the grains as pellets for your pellet gun . The employees do not care about proper rotation of their food . I hope this review goes beyond Google and the owner reads this because YOU ALLOW THIS TYPE OF WORKPLACE . Will be making more calls into this . “Pizza Chef is not vogue, certainly not flashy or gimmicky. This place just makes impeccable food and has for as long I can remember. The crust is chewy, but not too thick. The toppings are abundant. We got 4 junior specialty pizzas tonight to share and each one was a delight. A mushroom/artichoke one that holds its own against any meat pizza, a cheeseburger one that makes you think you're eating a cheeseburger, a spicy Buffalo chicken one, and a pepperoni that somehow leaves you talking about the cheese. All thoughtfully created and delicious. Five stars.”

“If you're looking for good BBQ, look elsewhere. This establishment fails both in food quality and price. Food quality: -Burnt ends are not prepared the traditional way (with BBQ sauce), they are dry. They also just did not taste very good. -Pulled pork was decent. -Sides were beans and mac & cheese. Beans were okay. Mac & cheese did not taste good at all. Way overcooked without any good flavor. Price: this is the worst price/food ratio I have seen for BBQ in this area. For burnt ends, pulled pork, and two sides our cost was $20.XX. This was supposed to be a meal that feeds one person, yet the portions of meat were so miniscule. The sides were also in extra small cups. I've tried this place twice, hoping that the first experience was an anomaly. Unfortunately, poor food quality and high prices both times. If you're looking for great BBQ, go to Wright's BBQ. You will get way better BBQ at a price that is cheaper per pound than here. EDIT: In response to the business’ reply… I’ll let others decide for themselves… Do you feel like $20 is a good deal for the amount of food in that picture? Not a plant, just a local resident trying to find some good BBQ.”
