So I gave in and what a fantastic surprise, it’s not your traditional Italian thin light pizza and I can only describe the pizza as “ pizza pie” it tasted fantastic. Well worth a visit and the possible small wait outside to get seated.”

Check the specials board on the wall as you enter. It is a small place, white tablecloths, a little noisy from all the happy conversations, families, friends. The waiters treat you like family and are extremely attentive. The ambiance is just right.”

“Walked in without a reservation, and judging by how many people they unfortunately had to turn away, we timed it well! We were warned of a 30-40 min wait in food as we were seated which was fine, and I didn't time it but I don't think it took that long for our two burgers to come out. The menu is varied, with a few daily specials too. Drinks were reasonable and again, a good selection. Our two burgers (one beef and one lamb) were delightful, and the fries some of the crispiest I've had in a while. The service stood out though, with the team being personable and friendly - impressive after working all through December in my opinion!”

“First visit to Harbour Light for my husband and I last night and what a pleasure. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Much bigger that it looks from the outside and nice decor and ambiance. We had mussels and arancini to start followed by chicken supreme and hake. Everything was perfect, absolutely delicious and plenty of it we didn’t have any room for dessert. Wish I’d got our waiters name so I could mention him on here as he went above and beyond, so helpful. Well done to the management excellent experience from start to finish and we will definitely return and recommend 🤩”

“Fantastic place for food. I've been 3 times and I've been completely satisfied each time! Plenty of parking here, small and cosy country pub serving great food! Large starters, and a large selection to choose from. They have a specials board which will be brought to the table, beautiful fresh options and always something different. It is a very small and intimate location. I wouldn't think it would suit a large party of people at all but for a couple to maybe 4/5 people, it's perfect. Staff are friendly. I've had the creamy mushrooms from here twice and both times have been really impressed with the amount and the quality of them. There is outdoor seating which is really beautiful and garden lights but I couldn't see any heaters so it can get a little chilly in the evenings. Perhaps a summer day would be nice.”

“We phoned and someone answered quickly unlike many others, a polite chat and a table booked, when we got here it was quite busy which was a good sign and parking is tight. We had the Camembert sharer which was excellent and enough bread to see us to the end (10/10), Slow cooked ribs for main, we got 2 ribs and they did taste excellent but was disappointed by the amount of actual meat, each ribs was about 25% meat the rest is bone and fat. The strawberry cheese cake desert was excellent. We had 1 large gin & tonic, 1 Pims, 1 pint soda water/lime, 3 courses came to £80, we gave £10 tip. The service from all the staff was excellent and extremely helpful, overall very nice and we would return but not sure if we would have the ribs, 3 ribs would have been better. Definitely worth a visit.”
