But the real value-add is the portions of pork they put on their sandwiches for the money. Their regular pulled pork sandwich, around $5, is a MEAL…a man’s meal. They are not stingy with their pork at all but truly generous. Also, their loaded baked potatoes are incredible and HUGE. Best BBQ in Columbia, hands down.”

“My husband used to love their BBQ when they were at the previous store years ago. This was our first time at the new place. The service was amazing. The food was ok. My husband said the slaw was the same as he remembered. I'm not big on pie, but my husband liked the ice box pie and likes frozen grocery store pecan pie better. All good, the pie was comped because I asked for sauce on the side. Mine came out with sauce not on the side. The Server felt horrible so he insisted on giving us pie. I prefer Commissary's BBQ over Leonard's. To each their own 😁”

“I’ve tried this place several times over the last year and each time is more disappointing than the last. Run out of a lot of common menu items that aren’t scarce. Today was my last trip. All I ordered was a “killer” potato with no meat and extra butter. This potato was 1/3 the size of the potatoes I get at other bbq places. It certainly wasn’t worth EIGHT DOLLARS. Missing sour cream and no salt or pepper. I could have gone through Wendy’s and gotten the exact same potato for less than $4. So much for dinner since this is barely even a side dish. I hate giving bad reviews to restaurants, but it’s something every time we come here. The taste was sub-par as well. It’s certainly a challenge to support small business when you can get way more food as expected and far cheaper at the other restaurants nearby. What a shame.”

“Pollard's Bar-B-Que in Memphis, Tennessee is a must stop if you are craving good barbeque. I am biased in saying that Texas barbeque is the ultimate best hands down, however Memphis barbecue ranks up there with my Texas barbecue. We ordered a beef sandwich and a turkey sandwich with cole slaw on it. All I can say is MMMM!!!! SUPERB!!! One of the side dishes we ordered was barbeque spaghetti with chunks of beef and barbecue sauce!! First time eating this and it was the best! I highly recommend this restaurant for your next meal if you're in the area and are craving good barbecue. FYI... Pollard's Bar-B-Que is owned by Tony Pollard, running back for the Dallas Cowboys.”

Probably Murfreesboro best BBQ joint, they honor the smoke here, it's not about the sauces but about that nostalgic flavorful smoke in the meat! Haven't had the opportunity to eat breakfast in house yet, however, I did have a TN BBQ breakfast catered. EVERYTHING was phenomenal, prepared to perfection, all my guests enjoyed everything. They made brisket, smoked chicken wings, sausage, fried bologna, biscuits and gravy (holy smokes 1 biscuit could easily feed 2 people), cornbread, grits and scrambled eggs! Everyone is still talking about those wonderful grits 2 weeks later. Would absolutely have FatGuy cater BBQ for us again. I hear the smoked turkey around Thanksgiving is a treat and must have! Thank you again for always being so generous with portions and being just fantastic folks. My kids love coming in just to talk to the guys. Walking into FatGuy just makes me happy we moved to TN!”

“Absolutely loved this place. The staff was so friendly. The food was delicious. The fried okra and tots were crispy, without a hint of oil, and delightfully seasoned. The brisket, ribs and pulled pork were scrumptious. If I have one small complaint, it would be the Mac & cheese was a bit starchy- but great in flavor. The unique coleslaw was really flavorful. All in all, a great dining experience that I will definitely repeat. Go in a group and buy one of everything!”

It super close to the train entrance and the food was filling & delicious. I had the ribs with mac&cheese and potato salad. Teresa was awesome and made me feel welcomed! Since I’m on a time crunch, I was pleased that my food came out in a timely manner and I was able to enjoy it. I had a great experience here and definitely recommend it!”
