Desert Hills Ranch Farm Market
4.7
( 16 reviews )

250 Elm St, Ashcroft, BC V0K 1A0, Canada

“This is such a special place. The staff are so hardworking and kind, the produce is so affordable and fresh and delicious. The set-up that they have for Fall and Halloween this year is beautiful, with wagon rides, corn mazes, pumpkins etc. The animals are so sweet too. Can’t recommend this place enough.”

Everything Wine
4.6
( 8 reviews )

Safeway Austin Heights
4.1
( 8 reviews ) $$

1033 Austin Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3K 3P2, Canada

“Beautiful new store in the neighbourhood 🏬 right in between the soon to be built condo towers. Has a great selection, is clean and bright, and a Starbucks inside, what more do you need? I’m a happy camper. Parking available in the back of the store upstairs via Ridgeway or in the front via Austin on the ground level. A bit pricier than others locally but understandably they have to make up for the new build I suppose.”

Stong's Market
4.4
( 8 reviews )

2150 Dollarton Hwy, North Vancouver, BC V7H 0B5, Canada

“I was here with a buddy to pick up some items for a get-together his family was hosting. Walking in, I got the Whole Foods Market vibe. Everything was cleanly stocked and sorted. It was inviting and welcoming to shop at Stong's Market. The hot food area was very attractive with brick oven pizzas (thin crust, just the way I like it), paninis, etc. The meat area was beautifully displayed with dry aged meat hanging against a window. Prices were competitive, and the store had a nice stream of traffic, not overly busy, but not a ghost town. Love to shop here again.”

“Spectacular garlic sausage and farmers sausage. Friendly staff. Visited with some nice people in the lengthy line waiting because they are so popular. You get to watch the meat cutting staff work right before your eyes as you order. Fresh!”

Buy-low Foods
4
( 8 reviews )

370 E Broadway #200, Vancouver, BC V5T 4G5, Canada

“The staff are great here and always have been. Since changing ownership I can't find a lot of things anymore and it's basically become an uglier looking Save On Foods in terms of selection. I no longer shop as much here because I often leave without being able to find what I went there for, but also some of the prices are stupid. A few months ago I left grapes at the til because the bag was 20 dollars. I've been a few times in the last 5 days looking for A2 milk and they're still out of stock. Often there are empty spots on the shelves for some things, but the selection is a lot worse now. I specifically shopped here because it wasn't Save On (they're more expensive and don't always have a great selection, especially for condiments from other countries and specific things like dried white beans or fresh herbs ), but now Buy Lo is basically Save On with the same stock now. I don't shop at Nesters for the same reason so I guess Costco and smaller markets on Commercial Dr are my go to places now. I'd rather get most things in one place, but I literally can't do that anymore at Buy Low. I couldn't even find a small packet of deli meat for pizza. All they had was the 10 dollar antipasto with prosciutto etc. You can't buy pepperoni here anymore unless it's off the big log at the deli and even then there was literally only one type and it was the big one.I couldn't find rice flour in the bag with red lettering at Christmas either. I had to buy a tiny bag of organic stuff at a huge markup.”

Hugh's Your Independent Grocer Comox
4
( 10 reviews )

215C Port Augusta St, Comox, BC V9M 3M9, Canada

“Prices are higher than expected on some of their fresh food items and the quality is not that great. The chicken balls were tough and chewy and it costs more than buying it already warm at a local restaurant. We will certainly be more careful purchasing from here again.”

I went to other electronic stores and Visions staff blew everyone out of the water! Not to mention they actually want what’s best for you and your needs! Finally they actually aren’t afraid to make a deal! They will find what you need within your budget or even give you a nice discount to make things work! I will definitely be coming back for all my TV needs! This place is my first and only stop! Thanks to Dave the sales manager very professional!”

Save-on-foods
4.1
( 8 reviews ) $$

370 Trans-Canada Hwy, Ladysmith, BC V9G 1T9, Canada

“I have been disappointed recently with the fact that the reusable green bags that they had at the till that were 35 cents at the beginning of december are now $2. This was as soon as they took away the option for plastic bags. Also, I was just in and the customer service seems to be slipping. They used to bag your items in your reusable bags. Now it seems they are no longer doing that.”
