( 16 reviews )

“We booked an hour experience for my Dad and ended up taking our family ( 10 in total ) and what a great day out we all had! We saw the 2 flying shows and the vulture talk which was very interesting and changed our minds about the plight of the these vulnerable birds. The flying shows were brilliant and the Birds of Prey experience was amazing and our host Megan was brilliant! All the staff were excellent and informative and the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend Gauntlet to anyone, even if you’re not a bird person you will be after a day out here!”

“A fabulous evening in an historic setting. Had a light supper and drinks in the garden before the performance. The Lord of The Rings musical was an exceptional experience, partly outdoors then moving into the theatre itself. We would most definitely recommend this venue, and only wish we lived closer as we would attend on a regular basis”

Almeida Theatre
4.7
( 10 reviews )

Almeida St, London N1 1TA, United Kingdom

“First visit to the Almedia Theatre. Front of House staff. Friendly and helpful. Cafe/bar reasonable I think the theatre is across two buildings. But the performance space in one. Show: Portia Coughlan A moving and difficult at times play. The cast is excellent. Especially, Alison Oliver as the titular Portia. The play set in Ireland through I've not met an Irish woman called Portia. Kathy Kiera Clarke is excellent in both comedic parts and the more serious elements of the play. A very powerful play.”

“Outstanding 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Gone 'Panto Smut', enter Musical Theatre. Simple, but effective choreography. Great soundtrack, well delivered vocals. Great stage sets and lighting. Superb stagecraft - great finale, avoiding a long curtain call. 'Jack' & 'Sarah' entertaining panto characters with 'sensible' narrative. Moderate satire and political jokes. Great costumes! 💃 👏”

West Cliff Theatre

Tower Rd, Clacton-on-Sea CO15 1LE, United Kingdom

“We visited the Westcliff Theatre for the Summer Show. I wasn't overly sure if we would like it, but I shouldn't have been worried as kids loved it. I was also very impressed with the theatre and theatre staff - it was clean and comfortable, and the staff couldn't do more to try and help. I also felt that the snack and drink prices were very reasonable!”

Kiln Theatre
4.6
( 8 reviews )

269 Kilburn High Rd, London NW6 7JR, United Kingdom

“Sam Tutty and Dujonna Gift put on an absolutely amazing performance in Two Strangers Carry a cake across New York. At first glance you would think such a small production wouldn’t rival the bigger names on the West End. But everything from the performance to the live music was amazing. The script was comedic and lively and the actors just brought everything to life. The last show is in end of January and I definitely recommend watching this musical. Absolutely amazing and is a worthy contender with cheaper tickets to the other bigger names on Broadway”

Everyman Liverpool
4.8
( 16 reviews )

35 Victoria St, Whitechapel, Liverpool L1 6DA, United Kingdom

“We came here over the festive period to watch Wonka and did enjoy the experience, although did spend quite a bit. It's fun to get cozy on the sofas, although the little tables are a little small so you do have to do a bit of a balancing act with things you buy (at least we did). The food and drink is what you'd expect to pay at the cinema, and it is that bit different the choice of what you can get ordered to your seat (you order at the bar and they bring it to you). I wish they did a proper pick and mix though, the little pre made sweet carton doesn't have the cinema feel to it like pick and mix does! I saw a review saying about the length of adverts at the start, and I have to agree it's over the top the length of time you wait for the film to start. I'm guessing they may do this to try and get people to finish eating so there is less disturbance in the film? Still, we didn't get hot food, so we found it a bit annoying having to wait through all the ads. Overall, it's a fun experience, which you do pay a premium for. I'm not sure I'd be going regularly, but as a treat, and as something different, I do recommend it.”

Cambridge Escape Rooms
4.8
( 8 reviews )

Lincoln House, Business Centre, The Paddocks, Cherry Hinton Rd, Cambridge CB1 8DH, United Kingdom

“We had a lot of fun in the escape rooms! Initially when we got into the first room we all thought "Is that it???" but then it turned out that there were many more to come and we loved solving all the puzzles, some of which were pretty damn difficult. We will be visiting again as we had loads of fun. Great bonding experience!”
