“Bit of a small shop which makes it quite difficult when it’s busy but staff are incredibly accommodating and efficient nonetheless. You can get ice cream and hot chocolate too which is a plus, with the pick and mix being the highlight - a rather exciting special occasion for visiting was the pick and mix advent calendar. Unfortunately the white chocolate and mango flavours weren’t available in this store but every other flavour was so not too disappointing. Very satisfied overall, will be returning.”

“Very competent, friendly, and helpful staff. Specifically, Ash and Liam are the two people that helped me. Liam diagnosed some serious issues with my bike, and recommended I should get a new one instead. And Ash explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and was very patient. He then helped me select a new bike, thoroughly checked/adjusted it before handing it to me, and even threw in some mud guards and lights! And also handed me the new break pads that they had just installed on my new bike the week beforehand. Great experience overall, will definitely keep visiting those guys for any bike issues I have in the future!”

“Recently visited this huge store, looking for silicone baking tins, didn't find what I needed in silicone but did find a perfect metal tin instead. A lot packed in to the store, it has a lot to offer everyone and a cafe, which is always a bonus. Slight downside, not enough parking as there are other shops in the vicinity, not enough disabled parking spaces, inconsiderate drivers who can't park to save themselves. Gap in the aisles not very wide, but store has a lift to first floor and above all else the staff are great and very helpful.”

“I ordered 3 boxes of Dalgety Peppermint Tea. I opened 1 box and immediately realised this was not peppermint tea as it smelt of absolutely nothing. The leaves was powdery and the usual consistency was different. I decided to go ahead and make a cup of tea. It was without a doubt not peppermint tea. I contacted Tradewinds and asked for a full refund, including postage paid, and was told that this will not be honoured. I will be sending the opened box to the relevant authorities for testing as I’m really unsure if it is fit for consumption. Please be warned that this is not authentic peppermint tea and Tradewinds Oriental Shop do not support customer care despite selling products that are not as described. The tea on the left of the photo was purchased from a reputable store on 20/11/2023. The tea bags are in a Dalgety bag. The tea on the right was purchased from Tradewinds.”

“I have been a customer of Aldi for over 9 years now and i never encountered any misbehaviour from any staff in any store but today it has changed. At around 1:49pm 26/07/23. I got what i wanted to buy and as i approached the till with a lady on it, she saw me coming and told me that this till is closed. I was like ok thats fine i will go to self checkout. But to my surprise, when i was heading out after paying for my shopping, she was serving customers who had gone to the till after me. And as i was about to discuss why she refused to serve me and actually lied to me, she gave me a very mean and awful look. I thought its best not to argue with her and review it online. This was my first ever visit to this aldi and it will be my last.”

“This is a 4 star review of the cafe. Visited again today and the service was very good, more importantly the cappuccinos were very good. Well made and good coffee used. Not the cheap, harsh-burnt flavour in many outlets that don’t specialise in coffee predominately. I’ve yet to eat here so only 4 stars atm. Could easily be a 5. Lots of room for patrons and close to the toilets on the same floor. Three different team members engaged today and all were very pleasant. Was offered a loyalty option by way of a qr code but didn’t take the option today. I have the app so it may be an option if I was to visit regularly. Very much recommended and will try to eat next time.”

“It's a good sized Sainsbury's, very well located to the town and the railway station. It had a wide selection of items available and the shelves were well stocked. There were only self-serve checkouts available when I visited, but it was very quiet and there weren't any queues. The staff working on the self checkouts were very friendly.”
