The garden centre is currently set up for Christmas in the back rooms but there are plenty of 'normal" garden centre things still available. The staff are very friendly and helpful”

“First contact was by phone. Kevin was most helpful which prompted visit to the store which is some 30 miles away. On arrival was served by Adam. He was very knowledgeable about the product (which was in stock) and never tried to 'hard sell'. In fact he was kind enough enough to find us a tape measure and show us an alternative product on his tablet. Very satisfied all round and the staff were excellent. All your birthdays are covered with all sorts of gifts for interior decor, birthday cards, jewellery and much more. Definitely worth visiting if you're near Exmouth or Budleigh Salterton. There's a cafe to rack up your calorie count for the day with a choice of food on offer. I had a latte that was pretty bad, and we had fairy cakes with mock cream. They've got their Christmas stock and gifts instore now which will help to make those Christmas gifts easier to choose from.”

Unfortunately I was unable to audition a couple of headphones due to difficulties setting up a suitable source (though the staff made considerable effort to do so which I appreciate). I'd just dropped in while on a cruise and had not called ahead to book this, so this was understandable. I would advise calling and booking in advance any specific audition you'd like to set up, as demo equipment/space is limited. I'm sure they'll be able to accommodate you if you do.”

Unfortunately the staff are not so helpful when it comes to click and collect, despite the sign saying contact a member off staff and they'll bring your items to you, we were told bluntly to join the queue. I don't do queues, for reasons, hence why when I was in the store last time and saw the sign I was happy to make a return journey for click and collect. The sign needs to say you need to join the queue. Had it said that I wouldn't have made the return journey. Needless to say I'll not bother with click and collect again.”

There is also a lighting section. There is a small cafe area where you can sit and relax. I have not used this so don't know what is on offer food wise.
