Steve's Poke Bar
4.9
( 8 reviews )

4567 Lougheed Hwy. F11, Burnaby, BC V5C 3Z6, Canada

“Decently fresh ingredients with a good variety of flavours and proteins to choose from. The mega portion was smaller than expected. The salmon and scallop protein options were good overall but the tuna was a bit too salty.”

Mr. Katsu

( 8 reviews )

6011 No 1 Rd Unit #110, Richmond, BC V7C 1T4, Canada

“It was my first visit to a Katsu restaurant in Vancouver, and it was an amazing experience. Despite having visited numerous restaurants in Richmond, none compared to the quality I experienced here. We ordered a variety of menu items, and they were served promptly, exceeding my expectations. Every ingredient was remarkably fresh, and the main Katsu dish was simply excellent—words fail to capture its excellence. I am eager to return, perhaps with new friends, and highly recommend this restaurant to others. The service from every staff member was exceptionally kind, making it the best dining experience I've ever had. This place has truly won me over.”

Pholicious
4.6
( 8 reviews )

430 W Pender St, Vancouver, BC V6B 1L6, Canada

“Just got into town and was looking for a quick, lite but filling meal close to my hotel. Google pointed me in the right direction with this restaurant as it was exactly what I was craving. I ordered a large seafood noodle soup and a vegan mega sub and both were delicious and cost just under $20. Good quality, quantity and freshness. My food arrived quickly after ordering and the lady who runs the place is super sweet and customer friendly.”

Bamboo Chopsticks Vietnamese Restaurant

207-3608 Carrington Rd, Westbank, BC V4T 3K7, Canada

“Came here for our family members birthday choice as it’s her favourite. It was my first time and I can see why it’s her favourite. Food was very fresh and tasty, with just the right amount of sauce. The serving staff were very courteous and attentive, and very pleasant.”

House Of Boateng Cafe

Close until 09:00 AM

2854 Peatt Rd #105, Langford, BC V9B 0W3, Canada

“An unexpected drop in resulted in an amazing experience. Came for brunch and the food presentation and variety is quite different from your general brunch menu at other spots. The flavour stands out unique and blends well with the other offerings. There are meat and vegan options as well as gluten free. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with good service. There are also African inspired meals as well. A great spot for brunch where you don't feel greasy nor weighed down after.”

Storm Brewing Ltd.

310 Commercial Dr, Vancouver, BC V5L 3V6, Canada

“Caitlin was fantastic, recommended almost all of my beers and didn't miss one! Fantastic beers, amazing service, will come back again for sure, if not for the beers, definitely for Caitlin. Also just to add some perspective, I first visited this place 5 years ago before I moved, and this was the first stop when I came back to visit.”

Wang Saidshanghai Cuisine
4.4
( 16 reviews )

3328 Kingsway #110, Vancouver, BC V5R 5L1, Canada

“This is a small and humble eatery, with many comforting dishes on the menu. The place is known for soup dumplings, pan fried dumplings, and spicy beef noodle soup. These are the three things I usually order. Noodles and dumplings are fresh tasting each time. Soup is just the right amount of spicy, and I like the beef. There isn’t much sit down capacity, so be prepared to wait in line during prime times. Interior is what you’d expect from a small and authentic Asian eatery.”

Kozak Ukrainian Restaurant

1 W Cordova St, Vancouver, BC V6B 1C8, Canada

“We loved our time here and had a reservation for a Friday night. It was a celebration of sorts as most of us hadn't seen each other in several years and we were so excited to be talking that we were not in a rush to order. Our waitress was kind and patient with us and checked on us regularly. We ordered many types of pierogies, cabbage rolls and borscht. I totally enjoyed my saurkraut pierogies which you could either have boiled or fried. Boiled are served with a small topping of fried onions and fried are served sprinkled with green onion. The dough was nice, not too heavy and the flavours were good too. The mushroom cabbage rolls were a great find, perfectly rolled and the sauce had a bit of a spicy kick which I really liked. Everyone enjoyed their food selections and there was not one bit of food leftover on anyone's plate. We even tried a slice of the Napoleon cake for dessert between 2 of us and were not disappointed. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and service was really great. They also have a takecout counter so you can bring some of the delectable food home to eat instead of dining in. Highly recommend for a fabulous Ukrainian culinary experience 🇺🇦”

Ice

2785 W 16th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6K 4W7, Canada

“Tried their hot chocolate today along with a split scoop of ice cream. Very limited seating. The ice cream was a bit overly sweet for me, but I enjoyed the chocolate ganache flavor since it was rich. There were a lot of people buying the pints to go and it looked very cute, but not cheap. Refills are around $18 and new pints are $22. I have been here a few times and I feel like their ice cream is very sweet, and not much surprise. Perhaps I am not their targeted audience!”

Duke's Fine Ice Cream
4.8
( 8 reviews )

6758 188 St #104, Surrey, BC V4N 6K2, Canada

“I'd been wanting to try Duke's Fine Ice Cream for quite awhile as I'd read rave reviews about the place. We finally had a chance to drop by, and so we ordered a flight which comes with four different flavors of ice cream. For our four flavors, we chose: S'mores Rose Pistachio Mint Chocolate Chip Honey Lavender I really wanted to love this place as I'd heard so much about it, but I have to admit...it really fell short of my expectations. The ice cream is good and still a great treat for anyone who's in the neighbourhood to stop by for. It just wasn't as good as people had made it out to be. The flavors were quite subtle and not as pronounced as I would have liked them to be. Rose Pistachio was the best of the four flavors. Even in this one though, I felt that the flavors could have been stronger. I'd had pistachio and lavender gelato elsewhere, earlier in the summer and the flavors were much more distinct than they were here at Duke's Fine Ice Cream. Service: Good Parking: Free parking on the street Location: 6758 188 St. #104, Surrey”

Apna Indian Kitchen
4.6
( 16 reviews )

20204 Fraser Hwy, Langley, BC V3A 4E6, Canada

“I had googled best Indian Restaurant in Langley, and Apna came up. We went as a group of 8 guys on a Thursday. The food was simply amazing! So much flavour and the taste was out of this world. Food portions were also extremely generous compared to other places. All the guys said that this was probably the best Indian food they ever had. The fish pakora, Palak Paneer and veggie pakora were so good as was all the other dishes that we ordered. Apna was also very reasonably priced. You need to try this place if you are in Langley!”

Elma

994 Lakeshore Dr W, Penticton, BC V2A 1C1, Canada

“If you love Turkish food (we do!) or are just in the mood for some culinary adventure, Elma's will not disappoint. Terrific food, service and ambiance. Fabulous lake view from their partially enclosed second floor. The menu is mostly comprised of a broad selection of of mezes, which are smaller appetizer-sized dishes comparable to Spanish tapas. Great for sharing! Everything we tried was very well prepared and bursting with flavor”

Ayoub's Dried Fruits & Nuts
4.7
( 10 reviews )

986 Denman St, Vancouver, BC V6G 2M1, Canada

“Ordered blueberry covered chocolates and cherry chocolates before. Totally loved them. Today I visited the store looking for rose turkey delight. Unfortunately it’s sweeter than I wanted. Good service and provided me a sample to taste before purchase. Pricing is on the high side however if you are looking for unique flavors and speciality items, this is a good store with varieties of selections.”

Red Door Bistro
4.8
( 8 reviews )

2129 Lake Placid Rd C, Whistler, BC V8E 0N4, Canada

“Service was great to start but fell short. The food was all around excellent. Had Sean as the server whom many rave about. Excellent personality, knows what to say but he got really busy with other tables, other tables with more people than our two. We got our mains, the Lingcod and the Bouillabaisse, from someone and Sean never made it back to tell us about what we were eating or even how the first bites were. I do have to say order the Bouillabaisse, it is amazing. I just don't like putting down over $200 on dinner and the service falls short. My tepid tip should be spent at the restaurant on Whistler Road for some service pointers.”

Delara Restaurant
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

2272 W 4th Ave, Vancouver, BC V6K 1N8, Canada

“My family and I had such a wonderful experience at Delara. The servers were so hospitable, friendly and kind - I love it when servers have a smile on their face despite being crazy busy (which they were), and the food was absolutely incredible. The lamb shank and beef main dishes were so flavourful and the meat incredibly soft and delicious. We got some cocktails too and I was recommended an off the menu champagne that I drank like fruit juice. I really couldn’t recommend this place more. Thanks for such a wonderful night!”

Gray Monk Estate Winery

Open until 04:00 PM

1055 Camp Rd, Lake Country, BC V4V 2H4, Canada

“While the gentleman overseeing the wine tasting exhibited a somewhat reserved demeanor and lacked the expected enthusiasm, a gracious lady on the staff took the reins, passionately delving into intricate details about the various wines on offer. Her warm and informative approach not only made the experience memorable but also led to my decision to purchase their distinctive white port, concluding the visit on a positive note.”

Golden Ears Cheesecrafters
4.5
( 16 reviews )

22270 128 Ave, Maple Ridge, BC V4R 2R1, Canada

“About a year ago I had the opportunity to go through the Golden Ears Cheesecrafters and I was thoroughly impressed. They make their own cheese and sell lots of really neat things for the kitchen and cool stocking stuffers. I do not live in the area, however last night I have the privilege of enjoying evening with the staff and owners. They are wonderful people who put more love and care into the delivering a fantastic product than anyone I know. Check it out you won't be disappointed.”

Rocky Point Spirits
4.6
( 8 reviews ) $$

2805 Murray St, Port Moody, BC V3H 1X3, Canada

“The $10 pale ale was lacking flavour…unusual for that sort of beer. The margarita was stellar but the Shirley temple was far too heavy orange. Lovely staff but a very insincere atmosphere about the place. Kind of sterile and drab. Also grabbed food from the BC Taco truck and unfortunately that was a mistake. Tasteless, dry bean (and chicken) burritos, greasy quesadilla and 2.5 for the fish tacos. Lots of options along the street…keep walking.”

Krave Kulture Yogurt

3151 Edgemont Blvd, North Vancouver, BC V7R 2N9, Canada

“This is the first time in my life I have ever enjoyed matcha frozen yogurt/ice cream. I didn't think it was possible! Don't ask why I ordered it knowing I dislike it, but I am lucky it was so amazing here. Full disclosure: I really, really wanted raspberry. And I wanted the swirly cone for the gram. I know, I know. That isn't something I should admit. But it's the truth... I hadn't even planned to come here at all, but I had a connecting bus in Edgemont so I had some time to kill. Saw it on my IG feed, and decided to give it a shot. It was soooooooo good. Like amazing. The raspberry and matcha both were flavourful but not overwhelming, and the sour and sweet of raspberry complimented the more earthy tones of the matcha extraordinarily well. The only downside is you can't order toppings on the cones. I guess I understand why... sort of, but it was a bit of a bummer. Decor was on point, and even the cone was good. It didn't melt too fast and was perfect for meandering around the park. All-round excellent experience. 👌”

Cedarcreek Estate Winery

Open until 06:00 PM

5445 Lakeshore Rd, Kelowna, BC V1W 4S5, Canada

“As a local, this winery and restaurant should be on your list of places to visit. As it’s tucked away from the city, you’re welcomed with aesthetically pleasing architecture. The restaurant has a daily seasonal menu with minor changes daily and full menu rotation seasonally. We had the 3 course paired dinner, and I rate the menu 4/5. Wonderful starter options, but the mains lacked options as two options were fish. The desserts were absolutely incredible and overall I recommend the paired dinner and lunch dining option. I will however provide the recommendation of not ordering the cod. It lacked flavour and the batter it was fried in drew out too much moisture from the fish. What we ordered: Burrata salad, heirloom tomato salad Crusted cod, steak Double chocolate tart, peach cream puff.”
