“Fast service, good and healthy food, and popular with locals (Koreans). We ordered two portions of the beef bulgogi hot plate to share between two people. You have to order at minimum a two person portion of the same type. Beware, the hot plate only comes with egg and corn. Cheese is an additional $5 despite being in the menu photo. The food came out quickly and the heat was turned on to cook. The servers came and cooked the food and turned off the heat when it was done. Although it initially looked like little meat and lots of cabbage, but it was a good mix as too much meat would’ve been overwhelming. The cheese melted well but overcooked quickly. The corn and eggs were tasty but hard to get out of the individual section of the hot plate and it can easily spill over the sides. The beef bulgogi itself had a lot of flavour. Side dishes were complementary with the meal and you can ask for refills. Overall it was a good experience and came to about $30+ per person. We went on Saturday for lunch and the place filled up quickly with patrons.”

“Our office (not the same office as the other person who recently posted) ordered catering for around 12 people and the food was really good. Everyone loved it. The olives in the Greek salad could have been better because they were not very flavorful, also I prefer chunks of feta vs the grated that they used but that's basically my only critique. The rice, Greek spuds, chicken and beef souvlaki, tzatziki.... all delicious! 4 stars because I checked their menu online and the prices seem a bit high to me. Their lunch menu specifically says it's smaller portions than dinner (as expected) but then it's still $20 for a lunch plate. Adding tax and tip I think that's just too much for a quick lunch. I might go check it out for dinner and try some other dishes though!”

“Definitely a good hang out spot for some chicken and beer by the Drive. Ordered half and half, Original and Volcano. Portions were good, although the Original chicken could have used a bit more seasoning. Pleasantly surprised how much I liked the Volcano—I believe the sauce is gochujang based, a bit sweet but has a nice kick. Service was friendly, although at the time I visited, it got busy quite quickly and there was only one server at the time (he did his best).”

“Enjoyed my meal from Jack's today. Ordered plain chowmein and 2 egg rolls which were priced very reasonably. Chowmein had good flavor and aroma. The noodles were a bit thick but that is purely a personal preference thing and didn't take away from the dish. The egg rolls were good but I didn't feel blown away. They were a nice size and had good crunch with a delicious vegetable filling. Overall, good meal and would recommend to others. The restaurant was also busy upon arrival which eludes to other dishes probably being good as well.”

“Wendy's was my 113th eatery in Vernon on my quest to eat at every eatery in Vernon. As others have noted, service here is insanely slow for a fast food joint. I ordered a small fry and a large fountain soda with unlimited refills for $7.81 after tax. I had to wait over ten minutes for my small fries. There were six people working in the back in addition to the cashier which made it more impressive. However, nearly the whole staff speaks Tagalog. My spouse was from Pampanga, and I travel to Pampanga every year. Once I noticed that I knew I just had to use the same patience as I do in Pampanga. Check my order to make sure it is right. If you travel annually to Luzon and Visayas annually like I do, you know the cultural differences in eateries. I couldn't help but smile and feel like I was on vacation with my spouse all over again. Staff was pleasant. I am sure they get yelled at by locals who don't understand the underlying cultural differences at play here. Oh, and they have one of those soda fountains with hundreds of flavours. I found Mello Yello in Canada for the first time in nearly twenty years! So buy your large soda and get your unlimited refills! Try 'em all! I am glad I visited Wendy's today. 113 eateries down. 50ish to go!”

“Tasty samosas which make for a great addition to a potluck. Tried the beef samosas which aside from being quite greasy, had great flavour and texture. The potato and peas samosas were tasty too! They had an excellent blend of spices and a very soft, creamy, and fragrant flavour profile. Just wished they drained the oil off a bit more after frying and packaging them as the paper towel on the bottom of the boxes were quite drenched with oil and they would have tasted even better if the oil was dabbed off more.”

“I had a chance to stop by at this great winery with my wife. We just stopped by after a disappointing experience at Township 7 winery! Jennifer provided us great different wines of the Da Silva vineyard. History of their family and story of each wine and lots of knowledge in her field. I bought 3 different wines as we could not choose among them.then l decided to buy for my friend an extra one too . I wish we could try their kitchen for the dinner but there was a age limit of over 12 year old while both of my kids are below 12🫣 But l will certainly come back and will definitely register for their club. ** l usually not a fan of wines but when she explained the story of processing and flavoring of each wine, l could feel the flavors which was so satisfying for me.maybe l am at the age that should try wines more🥸 In general l recommend this location and it worth for every penny you spend.”
