Mold to be expected in the environment (extreme heat and humidity, storms, etc.) but definitely can be kept up! Could expand offers in the hotel such as massages on the beach, spa, but other than that, everything truly was great!”

There is a beautiful restaurant on the property called Sunset cafe which is amazing, speaking of which you won’t want to miss the amazing sunsets. The staff is great, property manager Alexandra is a doll. One thing we were not informed of before traveling is that the month of September is slow season, almost all restaurants were closed. Most places were reopening first 2 weeks in October. It is the perfect place to go and relax.”

“We stayed here for a few nights and absolutely fell in love. I typically switch up which hotel I stay at for my annual trip to PR, but this hotel has made me want to change my plans and just stay here every year. The rooms were spacious and modern (we had a two bedroom condo) and very clean. The beach is a HUGE bonus to this property. Absolutely crystal clear water and very private. The restaurant was great as well. When we got a flat tire and asked the front desk for help translating, Nancy was amazing! She really went above and beyond what is expected of a front desk associate. Loved this place, will definitely be back.”

“A very nice, respectable hotel. It's a great location to act as a home base for anything you want to do in the southwest of the island. It's got plenty of parking and a nice pool. There's a cafe, which we didn't eat at so I can't speak to its quality but it is convenient. The staff we talked to were very helpful and friendly! Boquerón is a sleepy little town but it's cute and there is a beach very close. We got the lowest-tier room and it was perfectly adequate. A bed, a bathroom, an AC, and a TV was pretty much it. It was very neat and clean and comfortable. I only have two minor complaints: we saw small cockroaches on three occasions, which I'm sure is just something to be dealt with in tropical places. There's also not many places to hang things in the smallest rooms. Maybe the other room sizes are better, but we could've used some hooks in the shower or more hangers. Again, minor complaints, overall we had a very pleasant experience and are happy we chose this hotel :)”

There are many eateries, restaurants and scooter rentals or getting around. Front desk reception was very courteous and helpful. “There is a lot to like about this place. It’s right on the beach, which is good for walking and views although not for swimming because of the rocks. Our room was spacious, with a small outdoor space. You can have your room cleaned upon request, and the staff will give you replacement towels and supplies if you ask. A major plus is that they provide decent beach chairs and coolers for free, and we also rented a beach umbrella for our stay. It is a somewhat “no frills” establishment, somewhat in need of repair and upgrading, but we appreciated being away from the Esperanza tourist area and liked the quiet. They provide very mediocre coffee and a small fridge. We rented a jeep for our 5 days in Vieques and recommend that over a golf cart because the roads can be very bumpy!”
