“Hands down the best wings I have ever had, juicy, flavorful, melt in your mouth type of wings. As someone who is not a huge fan of BBQ/Wings these were absolutely amazing!!! We got the honey barbecue and honey garlic boneless wings, I highly recommend! The service was great, our waiter was really friendly and he knew what he was doing. They also have free popcorn you can help yourself to. The atmosphere is fun and lively, great place to spend an evening! I’ll be back!”

“We have a Monday night burger group that meets once a month in the winter and weekly in the summer. We ride our motorcycles in the summer. We have been disappointed with some of the places that offer 50% off burgers on Monday. Even though the burgers are regular price, I knew how great they are at Shortstop, I suggested we try it out. The group that went today, loved it! Our server Kristen, was an absolute gem! I will just have to convince the snow birds to go there come springtime. Food come out fast and tasted great! Kristen checked on us (we don't drink alcohol) many times throughout our stay. I, myself, left a great tip (cash) for her and I know one of my friends did too. We will be back! Added bonus is that dogs are allowed on the patio and are even given water and a treat! Niko will be there on the motorcycle this spring/summer!”

“By far one of my favorite breweries in the Twin Cities!! The staff is amazing. They have a great variety of food trucks. Comfortable taproom alongside a great patio (the patio gets covered with an event tent and heaters in the colder months). Great free bingo and trivia having great prizes. And of course the beer is amazing. I strongly suggest trying the Ben's Minnesota Martini olive beer.”

“My first review after numerous visits to the Chatterbox over the years. Cara was a terrific host! We grabbed some wine, no food this visit. The bbq smells coming out of the kitchen were very enticing!! The interior of the Chatterbox could use a facelift but I guess that’s what makes it an “institution “!”

Salad was Fresh chilled an had a bun a crackers along with a great Bowl of Tortilla chips and soup with black beans, absolutely delicious! Soup 4.5, Salad a solid 4+… great service, fair prices, and the Vanilla Porter was spot on! If you’re looking for a great Spot for Family or Games! It’s on my Go To Place! The Service is Friendly and Professional! Definitely Old School with an updated Menu! Try it you will Like It!”

“We recently tried their weekend breakfast and found it to be an enjoyable, chill time with some tasty food, bloodies and pull-tabs. I can't always say we have the best experience during the busy summer, as the service can be spotty and wait times rather long. We will definitely be back again for breakfast this winter. Our server/bartender was friendly and attentive. Food was hot and quick to come out. We tried the mini-donuts to start. So good. The chorizo breakfast bowl was delicious. Super flavorful with fresh ingredients. Drinks were good and seating in the bar was cozy. We had a great morning. Try weekend breakfast some time!”

“This place has amazing potential but needs a new chef. Food was low quality. Salad only had iceberg Lettuce. Suggest adding breakfast options especially Sunday mornings. Patty melt served with wrong bread. It was served like a French dip. Meat was dry and chewy. Bread stick was hard.”

“I was eager for a lively Saturday night out at Sally’s but the awful service ruined it. The fun atmosphere initially showed promise. However, our apathetic server couldn't care less about prompt drink and food orders or getting it right. We waited ages for warm beers. Soggy, cold nachos eventually came out missing toppings. My questions were met with dramatic eye rolls and no apologies. Clearly customer satisfaction is not a priority here. I’ll return to hang out with friends but won't expect decent service. Lower your expectations if you visit - the staff simply does not care.”
