Action Tire Services

10894 120 St, Surrey, BC V3V 4G9, Canada

“Action tire has used tires if you want them at a reasonable price. This time, however, I bought my 4 new snow tires here at an excellent price. Their customer service keeps me coming back. Service while you wait, but very fast. Tried their competition in the past, but dealing with them was always 'tainted' in some way, and they irritated me with their attitude. I have dealt with the owner of Action Tire before, and he is very accommodating to please the customer. Has my recommendation.”

“Today I finally got the UX250H that my parents bought for me. Over the years, thanks to Uncle Frank, we have no worries about buying or upgrading our cars. This is the fourth car we have bought from Uncle Frank. Thank you uncle! Different from every time we picked up the car before, today's delivery lacked the vibes I expected. Uncle Frank was gone, and there was no big red bow on my new car. I felt pretty sad. Thank you Frank Fang for all your help over the years. It deserves 5 stars, but I didn’t see Uncle Frank, nor the big red bow today, which is really a pity. Just give it two stars this time.”

“I always feel compelled to write when we get exceptional service. We stopped in for an extremely efficient oil change and the manager, Nigel? Sorry if I spelt that incorrectly, already knew more about where to find reset buttons for odometer tracking etc., for our SUV, than we did. And we’ve had Acura SUVs for over 15years. I’m pretty confident he files away info on most car makes and models like a computer. Also he is v knowledgeable about recommendations for great tires, suited for our climate. If you’re in the market for some new winter rates all-seasons. Thanks for the great service!”

“We did Trade and purchase of used vehicle at this location. We had a very positive experience with white rock Honda. Amy was more than helpful and very informative. She also went our of her way to accommodate any issues and was very reasonable with my trade. I strongly recommend her to have your next vehicles!!!”

“Critical Alert to All Tesla Model X Owners and Potential Buyers: I am addressing this to both current and prospective Tesla Model X owners to highlight a disturbing and potentially costly issue that I have recently encountered. This matter not only reflects a serious flaw in the vehicle’s technology but also a troubling lack of accountability from Tesla. After a standard software update on my Model X, both of my key fobs suddenly became non-functional, losing all connection with the car. Expecting a simple resolution, I took the matter to the Tesla service center, only to be confronted with an astonishing response: I was told that my keys were now rendered useless (“garbage”, as per their terminology) and the only solution was for me to purchase new key fobs at my own expense. It is crucial to understand that these key fobs were fully operational prior to Tesla’s software update. The timing and nature of their failure strongly suggest that the update was the direct cause of the malfunction. Yet, Tesla’s response was devoid of any acknowledgement of this possibility. They showed a complete disregard for the inconvenience and financial burden placed on me, a customer who had trusted in their technology and service. This incident is not just about malfunctioning key fobs; it raises a red flag about the reliability of Tesla’s technology, particularly post-update, and their customer support’s unwillingness to acknowledge or rectify issues that their updates might cause. As someone who has experienced this first-hand, I feel obligated to warn others. This situation is unacceptable and should be a critical consideration for anyone who owns or is thinking of purchasing a Tesla vehicle. The company’s failure to address such a significant issue responsibly is alarming and deserves attention from both current and potential customers.”

Legacy Tire Services Ltd

2765 Hwy 97 N, Kelowna, BC V1X 4J8, Canada

“Used Legacy for my first time last winter. Terrible experience. I bought a brand new set of winter tires for a decent price. Staff did not listen and put my tires on the wrong rims. I found out a week later that my brake pads were worn down to the metal… I feel as if I should have been told this when the tires were being switched over. And now I come to find out that I needed an alignment so badly that I cannot use the new set of tires I purchased last season…of course I was not informed of the alignment issue at the time of the swap over. So even though I saved a little bit of money on the original purchase, it is costing me a whole new set in the long run. Extremely disappointed in the lack of inspection and communication from this business.”

“Scheduled an appointment to change a tire, waited for 1.5 hours, and after leaving, I encountered a tire pressure error. To my surprise, upon checking with my own gauge, none of the four tires had the correct air pressure as indicated on the door frame. It's disappointing to see such a basic oversight. This experience has eroded my trust in the competence of Kal Tire, and I hope Kal Tire's head office takes proper actions.”

“***UPDATE #2*** The manager reached out to me and refunded me half of the of the original invoice amount. He apologized for what had happened. His name was Brandon. If you're going to deal with anyone at the Kal Tire location I would ask for Brandon. ***UPDATE*** Added picture of invoice they claim they can't find in the comments. Also after having my normal mechanic check the car over found they sheered off the top of one of my bolts. Of course they failed to mention this as well. Took my car in to get a flat tire patched. That wasn't an option so they recommended 2 new tires. They told me the two used from tires would be moved from the front of the car to the back of the car, and the new ones would be put on the front. I did not notice anything was wrong when I picked my car up initially. After getting home i noticed that they had put the tires new tires on in the back instead of the front. The tires were also covered in a waxy glue like substance. Also one of my front tires was now missing a valve cover. I phoned them up they said to bring it back and promised they would make things right. They said the substance on the wheels was supposed to be wiped off prior to returning the vehicle to me. They weren't sure why a valve cover was missing and also admitted they goofed up on installing the tires on the wrong wheels. I drove back to the location and while they did address the issues they did nothing in the way of customer service. No discount. No coupon for a future service. Nothing. The reason I chose Kal Tire was for convenience. I could have went to other places further out of my way and got a better deal. This was anything but convenient.”

“Anytime I have a tire issue, I go to this Kal tire. Always quick & efficient. Had a tire that fell flat overnight, that wasn't discovered until late afternoon. They took me in at 4pm (called at 345pm) & were done before closing (5pm). Their patch repairs are always quick & very affordable. When it's time to upgrade the tires on my truck, I'll be going to you guys for sure. 😎👍”

“Recently, while traveling from Victoria to the North Island, I picked up a huge nail in my rear tire. It was close to closing time, but the staff got me in almost immediately and sold me new tires and replaced them so I could get home. The staff was friendly, very empathetic, and efficient in completing the work. This is an example of 5 star customer service!”

“I typically have found Kal Tire good but my last experience was definitely a step down. I bought 4 new tires and I had to return twice to address slow leaks in 3 of the tires. The second return trip was to get 1 of 3 fully fixed as it was still leaking after they said that they had fixed the tire. I commend them for fixing everything under warranty but I definitely have better things to do then returning multiple times to get my brand new tires properly installed. It seems like quality control is lacking.”

“BC Tires (Kevin) have been a pleasure to do business with. I purchased tires and had some work done on my vehicle. Tires arrived the next day and were installed. I had a nasty oil leak and the water pump needed replacement. While work was being completed, Kevin sent me photos of how things were progressing and updates on completion time. Work was completed on time... Kevin was upfront and to the point on what my vehicle required and went into detail when explaining the situation. With my other vehicle, Kevins team repared my run flat tire the same day I brought it in. I have found a new shop that will handle all my automitve needs, BC Tires.”
