Al Manaar | The Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre
4.8
( 10 reviews )

244 Acklam Rd, London W10 5YG, United Kingdom

“The mosque is truly a sight to behold, with its captivating beauty evident in both its interior and exterior. The ground floor is adorned with exquisite decorations, and the new, pristine carpets provide a soft and inviting space for prayer. It's a pleasure to kneel and pray on them. However, when it comes to the first floor, while it maintains a level of cleanliness, there is room for improvement. The surface can be a bit challenging for prayers, especially during the bustling Friday congregations when the mosque is packed to capacity. Additionally, the mosque's location is somewhat unusual, given its proximity to the motorway. Despite this, it exudes an aura of serenity and spirituality that envelops all who visit. It truly is a peaceful and soulful place of worship.”

The Markaz, 1 Giles Ln, Canterbury CT2 7LT, United Kingdom

“This mosque is expected to REOPEN on 31st of October 2023 if Allah wills. May Allah help this Muslim community to flourish as Canterbury has a lot of love for Islam. Shutting the mosque for a year for construction has been a traumatic experience for those who were attached to the masjid but alhamdulillah soon the Masjid is due to open again. May Allah reward the patience of those who are in Canterbury and used to pray regularly at the masjid.”

Purley Masjid
4.7
( 8 reviews )

130 Brighton Rd, Purley CR8 4EX, United Kingdom

“I've not found a warmer (figuratively speaking haha) and more well organised masjid in the borough of Croydon. It really stands as proof that working hard and being financially successful in life = a part of Deen, whilst some masaajid (not gonna name any names, if you know you know) are still quite a shambles in terms of their organisation and running after a decade of being open. Lots of activities for the community, regular talks and lessons, and wellbeing such as women's groups, women's fitness, family running group, youth club and more. Edit: in response to reply to this: haha given how hot it is now, I think I miss that cold! Although the masjid still stays pretty cool in this heat too. Either way, me eluding to the masjid being cold is definitely not a complaint.”
