“Amazing cakes and pastries 🥐 🍰 One if the best salted caramel caked I ever had!! ♥️ The owner was there at that time and she is awesome 🤩 nice, attractive and friendly 😍 I just couldn’t drink my coffee ☕️ cause it tasted sour 🙁 I rated 4 just because of the coffee but everything was perfect!”

Hey Happy

Open until 04:00 PM

560 Johnson St #122, Victoria, BC V8W 3C6, Canada

“Hey Happy! sits quietly in Market Square facing Johnson Street. There are no big sign boards on the street, so you may miss it at first. However, their limited menu tells me they know what they are doing. The menu isn't huge but it appeals to you. I ordered their egg sandwich with a mocha and paid just upwards of $23, incl. tips. The drink was smooth with a perfect blend of dark chocolate with milk and espresso, and their sandwich was perfect as it. Highly recommend!”

Angus T Bakery & Cafe - Yaletown
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

1036 Mainland St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2T4, Canada

“While I was here I tried several cafes and ordered a croissant at each one since they're my favorite. This place stood out about the rest. Hands down the best I had while visiting. When I tried other places I would be eating it and thinking "dang I wish I had gone to Angus T." Both sweet and savory options are absolutely delicious. I highly suggest the raspberry pistachio and the onion bacon one. Coffee was great too!”

Crema Cafe Bar
4.3
( 10 reviews ) $$

1495 Bellevue Ave, West Vancouver, BC V7T 1C3, Canada

“It's incredibly rare that I actually want a lemon bar, but I absolutely needed one when I saw them this day. I also got the raspberry scone, which was absolutely amazing! And my husband enjoyed his blueberry scone while both of our drinks were absolutely delicious. The location is perfect for grabbing some snacks and drinks to go for a nice walk along the beach, especially if you have a dog with you or you just want to see dogs :). It's always super busy when I've gone by and I've never not seen a line, so expect a little bit of a wait in line, but the drinks come out immediately. Seating can get a little hectic, and I've never actually tried. They also have a full menu. Where are you purchase entrées and such as well, but I've only been for coffee and pastries.”

Propaganda Coffee
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

209 E Pender St, Vancouver, BC V6A 1T8, Canada

“I recently had an incredible experience at Propaganda Bistro in Saigon. The beautiful outdoor seating provided a charming atmosphere, complemented by the eclectic decor that added a unique touch to the ambiance. The service was nothing short of amazing, with attentive staff going above and beyond to make our visit memorable. The extended menu showcased a diverse range of delicious options, and the happy hour specials were a delightful bonus. To top it off, the desserts were the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic dining experience. I highly recommend Propaganda Bistro for a delightful blend of atmosphere, service, and delectable offerings. Five stars without a doubt!”

Starbucks

4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$

2980 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5T 3G3, Canada

“This is a Starbucks reserve location. Love the ambience and the interior. The staff is actually knowledgeable about coffee, unlike most regular Starbucks (where they just hire anyone). Even though it’s a Starbucks, it has a good vibe to it, and the drinks are served in hip glasses and mugs (in a wooden Starbucks reserve tray). The service here is always good. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t been. Do try drinks from their Starbucks reserve beans over their regular beans (that you can get at any Starbucks). Edit: way too crowded on weekends. They should implement a maximum 2 hour wifi policy and this situation should fix itself. People that buy the cheap drinks and stay for hours on end take all the seats. Difficult to fathom given how big this Starbucks is compared to the others.”

Steampunk Cafe
4.5
( 8 reviews )
Open until 04:00 PM

3025 3rd Ave, Port Alberni, BC V9Y 1S7, Canada

“I’m not a local Port Albernian but visit a couple of times a year to see family. Steampunks makes the best coffee and the staff are friendly and welcoming. It’s definitely worth a trip to the other side of town.”

Roots Cafe
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$

6502 Main St, Vancouver, BC V5X 3G9, Canada

“Probably the blandest breakfast I’ve ever had. Yes the prices are great, but you get what you pay for. There was no taste to any of it, not even the bacon saved it (and I’m sorry but the potatoes were terrible). I’ve driven by this place so many times and been wanting to try for so long… it was so disappointing, I can’t even…. Oh also the coffee wasn’t good (cute but not good). As someone who loves small businesses and appreciates coffee and simple meals… this chef needs to put more love (and seasoning) into the food.”

Anita's Bread & Coffee
4.6
( 16 reviews ) $$

East side of the building, 44688 S Sumas Rd, Chilliwack, BC V2R 5M3, Canada

“We were coming back from a camping trip and searched for a local bakery with high ratings on Google Maps and this came up. The store is very nice from inside, very clean, neat, well organized and refreshing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Two stars for these two. The location is in an industrial/business area and not very obvious to find on Google Maps. We ordered hot drinks... They were served in glass cups with no handle or sleeve which made it difficult to carry (almost dangerous to fall due to the heat). One of us ordered mocha... It was way below average as it's more watery and the chocolate is quite sugary. The croissant and other baked stuff are pretty mediocre. Lost 3 stars for all of that. While I feel this place may deserve better rating but to be fair I will stick with this. This place has, definitely, the potential to be a 5 star if they address this l, mostly, simple issues.”

Cafeclub.ca
4.8
( 10 reviews )

1018 W Georgia St, Vancouver, BC V6E 2Y2, Canada

“Found this amazing spot in the city and have been in love with it since the first time, coffee is right on point every time. I have tried everything on the menu but mushroom melt is my favourite. Alex, Philip & Aldri always get my morning set up with a smile ready to warm me up with a cup of coffee.”

Snowy Village Dessert Cafe

Dudes Coffee House
4.5
( 16 reviews )

12823 Crescent Rd #4, Surrey, BC V4P 1J6, Canada

“Was very excited to try this place out as I drove past a number of times last summer on a trip from the island but wasn’t able to make it in. This morning about to head out of town on a road trip and made a detour specifically to have coffee and breakfast at 730 as per the door sign and the hours as listed on google. We waited around in the dark for this place to open and 740 rolled around and nobody was there so we decided to head out. Would love to come back sometime and try this place out as it looks cute and has good reviews- the hours listed on the door are wrong but the ‘open’ comes on when the open time is reached automatically even if nobody is there. The website (which I looked at later) has other hours listed which I assume are the correct ones. Will try again next time I come to crescent beach and hopefully be able to update this review to 5 stars!”

Fox & Monocle Cafe
4.7
( 16 reviews )

2300 Canoe Cove Rd #3, North Saanich, BC V8L 3X9, Canada

“Bakery by day, restaurant by night; a lovely small getaway for an empty stomach. We ordered their brownie and sandwich at around noon and they were both very delicious! We haven't tried their dinner menu yet but looking forward to trying it in the future.”
