“Down town Silver Spring is a cool area with many different restaurants… I recommend trying one of those other options. I have been to the restaurant 2 times and both time the food was decent. I tried the fried option and the broiled option. The broiled option is better than the fried but both were nothing I recommend. Service is not the best, our server was not friendly and did not check in often although the restaurant was practically empty. The server had to be reminded of things we ordered and reached over our meal multiple times. We visited on a weekend for lunch and the spot was not busy at all. Food lacks seasonings/spice/flavor. Food looks better than it taste. Tomatoes were the best part of my meal. Crab cake is decent.”

”If you want fresh seafood. This is the place. I was looking everywhere for King Crab. So many places had mixed reviews and outrageous prices. I walked in here not knowing what to expect. It's a small fish counter. Fresh and frozen. You pick your choice and you can take it home to cook or have them cook it for you to take home. I grabbed a Large zip lock bag full of King Crab and had them steam half plain and half OB. It took less than 10 minutes. They plattered it up with cups of drawn butter and wrapped in plastic wrap to stay together for the trip home. THEY WERE FIRE 🔥!!! This is the first time I have ever had hush puppies that I liked. YUMMY. Crab Deviled Eggs?!?! 🦀 Yes hunny! This is definitely my go-to place when I'm here. I'm tired of messing with restaurants that have grumpy and slow staff serving questionable seafood. When I'm dropping a bill or 2, I want to be satisfied. Rippons, TAKE MY MONEY!!!! 🤑”

”This is one of my favorite restaurants to go stop at. With $50 you can eat all the seafood you want until you full! Such as snow crab, Dungeness crab, blue crab, raw oysters etc. On top their “king crab leg” is huge. The service was quick and friendly. They have a full bar with the football game I like to watch. The restaurants decors are cute. Truly a gem you do not want to miss!”
