“This was our favorite find in Ocean City! I wish we knew about it earlier in the trip because I'd love to come back again. We showed up on a Saturday night with a party of 9 and we were seated in less than 5 minutes. The cream of crab soup was so good, packed with flavor & crab meat. I took a gamble on the soft shell crab BLT and was not disappointed. It was delicious! The cole slaw, hushpuppies, fish & chips, crab cakes & green beans were also very yummy. But our favorite part was our server, Beth! She was an absolute sweetheart. We will definitely be back!”

”This was the first time we went to Lightseys and I would definitely recommend it. It’s a little gem. We sat down we talked with other people around us. Some people were new other ones were regulars. I ordered the bacon burger, which was very very good. My husband ordered the frogs legs and the catfish, and both were very delicious to die for the neighbors to the left of us. They ordered the fried green tomatoes and they ordered the mix platter That had a sample of all different items besides the peach cobbler they had with the ice cream and the cobbler was nice and hot. I saw that they ate there is only one waitress there that day and I’m telling you she ran around very very pleasant very personable with all her customers , hands-down she gets waitress of the year award even if you had a little bit of a weed it is worth it many thanks to our waitress and finding a new place to eat at”

”Down town Silver Spring is a cool area with many different restaurants… I recommend trying one of those other options. I have been to the restaurant 2 times and both time the food was decent. I tried the fried option and the broiled option. The broiled option is better than the fried but both were nothing I recommend. Service is not the best, our server was not friendly and did not check in often although the restaurant was practically empty. The server had to be reminded of things we ordered and reached over our meal multiple times. We visited on a weekend for lunch and the spot was not busy at all. Food lacks seasonings/spice/flavor. Food looks better than it taste. Tomatoes were the best part of my meal. Crab cake is decent.”

”Fast food style Mexican foods. The servers are very nice and friendly. We’ve had the tacos, bowls, quesadillas, burritos and chip and guacamole. All the seafood dishes I’ve had have been very tasty and fresh. I’d say the food is decent in size for the price. Parking here can be tricky but there is a side parking lot by the grocery store so it’s not too bad. Overall I’d recommend if you want to grab something fast.”

”It is been a while since we came to far east. This is our first time back for dim sum after they reopened. As for dim sum , Far East is by far the best in Maryland, from quality, taste to authenticity. If you don’t know what to order, just try it all, & be adventurous. However, even after reconstruction, the inside of the restaurant is still kinda crowded, not much changed. The line to get in for dim sum is still long, & you will only be seated if all parties are there. And during dim sum time the whole place is chaotic , it’s difficult to find a server to add hot water to the tea or ask for more napkins. But, I guess if you want authentic Chinese dim sum, you have to suffer from the other things 😂 Do recommend by @winedinenvacay”

”I really like the lighting. As you can see from the photos the actual bar is illuminated, which gives the restaurant a mellow amber glow. Very clean and the staff wanted to ensure my order was perfect, correct and tasty. I ordered to-go and had an amaretto sour while I waited. I decided to eat there because the bartender was generous 😉, I call it a cruise ship cocktail when they are well spiked, domo arigato. Very nice selection of $5 cocktails. The reason for the 4-stars for food is my food was a bit overly greasy and my wings a tad tough. The teriyaki sauce was yummy and not too salty, and yes I like salty. I didn't have sushi this visit but when I have in the past it was fresh and delicious. Again a reminder to the readers please support of our small businesses 😊”

Happened again so go in today to get shrimp and same person working well this time there was 2 I knew better to oder any with this same person working but there was another so I figured it would be different ummmm nope not at all so we go in I get the bag from the freezer spot and asked for it to be steamed and medium seasoned please the guy said 25 minutes I said ok cool so went to look for bread but was sold out of whay I wanted so I went back and waitined the other guy calls us up to the counter and says what u order I said for the bag to be steamed and seasoned medium seasoned and was told it would be 25 m8n I said ok cool well somehow they gave us 4 punds which I did not order mid u all this was less than 15 mins one was ice cold which I told them I didnt want the other one was luke warm and not seasoned at all. This is ridiculous if people dont wanna do their job they shouldnt be there 😒”

”I gave this place a try after seeing all the excellent reviews on here. We ate here twice over our one week long vacation. The first date, 7/23/23 we sat down just after 7:00 pm. We were seated almost immediately. Waitress was very attentive. Food was excellent, mainly the crab dip, best I’ve ever had! It was so good, we ordered it right away on our second visit 7/28/23. We will definitely be back again. Great atmosphere and plenty of sports on the televisions all throughout the restaurant. A+++++”
