“Hillbrook made our stay highly memorable. I had made several customized requests of guest services via text. They were responsive, kind, and excited to help. When we showed up they had completed all of them. It made our stay even more special. Our breakfast was 5 stars. The coffee was great. The architecture and decorations of the home were enjoyable to admire. I'm not sure how our stay could have been better.”

“Stayed there because of the photos on the website and the 4.4 star rating. Our experience was nothing short of a big disappointment Staff were less than helpful. She did not tell us how to get to our room and unfriendly. The room was run down, finials missing off the bed posts, worn furniture, stale air and an outdated heating system. Food was ok. Staff was not outgoing and did not create a good dining atmosphere. Dining and bar are cluttered with junk. A one and done for us.”

“Rooms are nice, got here and got put on the fourth floor. Immediately sat our bags down and heard a dog barking over and over so we picked our bags up and went back downstairs to ask the front desk lady if she could put us somewhere else. She found the same room on the top floor for us and was super nice. She was really helpful and understanding with the little problems we were having. Rooms were really comfortable and looked even better than they did online. Only 4 stars because…. I have late checkout. Even if I didn’t have late checkout, it is so rude and annoying to be woken up at 9am by guest services trying to see if the rooms are empty so they can clean them earlier. I don’t know who said this was okay but STOP IT!!! If my checkout says 11am or 12pm do not knock on my door until then!!!! Besides that the lady at the front desk last night was awesome and beds are comfy.”

“2 stars is because the resort is in a really good location for exploring the area. Beware what cabin you rent. All are individually owned and the resort does not seem to have a standard that they must be kept to. We rented cabin 9. It was badly in need of renovation. Smells like mold / mildew, terrible bed mattress, uncomfortable furniture, stove top falling apart, drywall peeling in places, slow internet and ultra grainy cable TV. We felt more sick the longer we we were there. We left 2 days early and immediately felt better. The resort has a lot of potential, but the cabin quality is a gamble.”

“Had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The front desk name gentleman Terry was so professional and very helpful. I would stay here again if this gentleman ran the show there he was amazing. I travel offen and he was very attentive to our needs and made sure we had towels and when I was sick he came to the rescue and checked on us the next day! Sad I was sick but knowing that you have a staff that will assist when needed is a huge factor! I use to stay in Weston at a 5 star hotel since the snow was coming I decided it was better to stay closer to the college! The best choice I have ever made and they will see us again due to that gentleman Terry the best customer service I have ever seen in my life time! Thank you for making us feel like family!!!”
