When we showed up they had completed all of them. It made our stay even more special. Our breakfast was 5 stars. The coffee was great. The architecture and decorations of the home were enjoyable to admire. I'm not sure how our stay could have been better.”

“Stayed there because of the photos on the website and the 4.4 star rating. Our experience was nothing short of a big disappointment Staff were less than helpful. She did not tell us how to get to our room and unfriendly. The room was run down, finials missing off the bed posts, worn furniture, stale air and an outdated heating system. Food was ok. Staff was not outgoing and did not create a good dining atmosphere. Dining and bar are cluttered with junk. A one and done for us.”

“We stopped after a long day driving in weather. It was a wonderful respite. Very clean and a new hotel. Staff helpful, easy to get extra pillows, etc. They also had a restaurant on site (because no one wanted to get back in a car and out in that weather to go anywhere). Restaurant was very good. It's a little hard to see how to get to it but it's there via several ways to access (we were just tired coming in during dark and rain).”

“I have stayed at this lodge at least a dozen times since it has opened, just over weekends to have fun with family/friends in the area.. this lodge was once the nicest hotel in the southern part of the state. Now it is very run down, unfortunately. It gets worse and worse every time I return. It is in need of some major updating/cleaning. First of all, the pool/hot tub area has been very dirty the last couple times I have visited in the last 2 years. The water doesn’t even smell of chlorine and isn’t as clear as it should be. Also there were food crumbs on the floor in the area and probably in the water as well. Second, the furniture in the lobbies is very outdated, I don’t think it’s been refreshed since opening. Looks dirty, very used. The beds are very uncomfortable and hard. Nice comforters/blankets are not provided in the rooms, just sheets and a hospital-like blanket. The breakfast is absolutely terrible. Down right disgusting at my most recent visit on 1/6-1/7 2024. The biscuits were hard, weren’t fresh. May have been leftover from the day before. The sausage links were overcooked and dry. Eggs were cold. Just gross. Come on Chief Logan Lodge, get back to being great again please! This lodge has amazing potential, it just needs som refreshing/updating and cleaning!”

“This hotel is a very clean hotel and the rooms were nice as well. We originally booked a king room, but when we checked in they didn't have rooms with only 1 king bed available. Good thing was however the rooms with 2 beds had 2 KING size beds not doubles or queens. So that was fine to us. The breakfast was pretty good too. Fresh gravy and biscuits, sausage, egg whites, potatoes, and your normal cereal and muffins and such. The hotel itself was fine for the price. The location however was a little sketchy. It had what appeared to be a crack motel behind it only separated by a fence and the location where we were told we could park our pickup and trailer was not lit at all. I refused to park there and instead took up multiple spots under the light in the hotel parking lot. If you're just passing through and need to catch some shut eye this is a great stop. Not somewhere I would use as a home base for a longer trip.”

“All Hampton are great but this one is particularly super. Conveniently located by major highway so It’s an easy off and on as you drive through the area. The staff has always been extremely helpful and provide great customer service. They are flexible with your needs. The lobby and common area was clean and neat portraying it is well kept. Housekeeping is a great fun group and goes out of their way to accommodate customer needs. I highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.”

“20230904 Stayed at this hotel on my way to IL. The physical location of the hotel is strange... between back of the Sonic and the railroad tracks. I'm really glad that my room is on the side of the Sonic, not where the pool is. When the long train goes by, it is real loud. See video. The young receptionist was very polite and helpful. The room was comfortable, felt clean. My room was 101. Don't stay in the room with higher last 2 digit of the room number if you are light sleeper. Stick with #01 to maybe #10. There are some stray cats living in the back of the business located behind the Hampton Inn, and I saw someone feeding them. That is so nice to see people who have a kind heart. I'm going to get some cat treats and food for them when I come back.”

“Stayed every 3 months in 2023 for hospital appointments. Location is great and convenient to Ruby memorial. We have stayed multiple times and every time there is NO HEAT in the room. I tell them and they always say the rooms are old and we are having problems and we're working on it. It must be scripted because it's always word for word. There are water stain on the curtains. Where does that come from? I think we've had our last stay there. We'll move on up to the Holiday Inn. Had to stay there once so I know that have heat.”

“Our room was filthy. There was a used bar of soap in our bed. Tucked between the sheets?.. There was clumps of hair that were not our hair color in the bed. It was clear that the sheets were not changed. The toilet and shower were moldy and outdated. We paid 160$ for a suite and I feel like we did not get what we paid for. The complementary breakfast was inedible. The food seemed to have been made days prior and was old and grey looking. my whole family was excited about it but ended up having to get breakfast elsewhere. This place used to be a great place to stay if you are vacationing in the area, but for as much as they are charging, you can get a better room and have a better experience elsewhere.”

“Rooms are nice, got here and got put on the fourth floor. Immediately sat our bags down and heard a dog barking over and over so we picked our bags up and went back downstairs to ask the front desk lady if she could put us somewhere else. She found the same room on the top floor for us and was super nice. She was really helpful and understanding with the little problems we were having. Rooms were really comfortable and looked even better than they did online. Only 4 stars because…. I have late checkout. Even if I didn’t have late checkout, it is so rude and annoying to be woken up at 9am by guest services trying to see if the rooms are empty so they can clean them earlier. I don’t know who said this was okay but STOP IT!!! If my checkout says 11am or 12pm do not knock on my door until then!!!! Besides that the lady at the front desk last night was awesome and beds are comfy.”

“Exactly what a seamless hotel stay should be. Check in was a breeze (on Christmas night no less) the lady that checked us in was super sweet and very helpful. The room exactly as expected. We stayed in the King whirlpool tub room. The room was clean, bed was comfy, pillows were great, lots of room. Our room was directly over the lobby & breakfast area as well as right next to the elevator. That said we expected it to be noisy, we were wrong. The noise was no different than you'd expected from any hotel room, we were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was the standard. Nothing fancy, but did what it was supposed to and was good. The lady stocking and cleaning the food area came out no less then every 5 mins to check and add more food if needed, so everything was always well stocked no matter what time you came to eat. Complimentary lemon water and sweet tea in the lobby after breakfast was a nice bonus. Every single staff member we passed had a smile and greeted us which was very nice, especially since it was a holiday. We stayed 2 nights & will definitely have this hotel on our list as one to stay at again in our travels.”

“The Hilton Garden Inn hosted over 40 swimmers and their families for a weekend as our travel team came from Maryland to compete at a swim invitational. Their sales staff, especially Jolene, were extremely helpful, going out of their way to make my team comfortable and taken care of during our stay. Housekeeping was prompt, rooms were nicely appointed, and daily service by the staff was always kind and courteous. The hotel is nicely situated among housing and shopping. I didn’t hear a single complaint about the hotel or accommodations from a single traveler in my group. I highly recommend this hotel!”

“We needed a.spot.to crash for the night in Morgantown and this hotel came up. Based on the reviews and location, it was a cool spot. It is an old building, very well kept and maintained. The service was good. We had a room on the higher floors. It was comfortable, and clean. There was a small fridge in the room, but no coffee maker. However there is free coffee in the lobby. The only comment I have is there was an awful lot of truck traffic downtown, and that seems to just echo between the buildings. This is what woke us up in the morning. Also, you will have to pay for parking, either valet or public parking. There are a number of restaurants nearby, so getting food won't be a challenge. They also have a bar in the lobby.”
