“We went here to enjoy pho and some iced coffee. The food is average. We ordered the chicken sandwich (banh mi) and the combination pho. We have had better banh mi and pho. The banh mi was super dry. The pho was not as flavorful. I wouldn’t recommend going in there if food is your major concern. Service wise they’re terrible! Our server was rushing us even though it wasn’t as crowded and when we accidentally dropped our tea and asked for replacement, they were very rude! I understand if you don’t want to replace the tea but there is no reason for people to be rude, the same thing can be said politely. Overall, the food is average and terrible service. Not going in there again.”

“Fern Thai is one of my favorite restaurants in Downtown Bellevue! The food is very good, and I highly recommend the duck curry and spring rolls!! Plus the prices are fair with the portions being very filling. The service is great as well! I would just say it can get busy, especially during dinner!! Fern Thai is definitely worth the trip!”

“The food was okay, the interior design is dated and needs to be updated. Worst part that after finishing eating you will be nicely forced to leave the restaurant.”

Phnom Penh Noodle House

“SO GOOD! The broths were unlike any I’ve ever had! Flavor bombs!!! Lot’s of goodies added too like fish balls and other protein things. Chicken wings were spicy but good, the green onions in the sauce were especially tasty. Would definitely recommend the house special soup and the bone broth soup!”

”Laidback, casual place with really tasty food! The standouts were the mapo doufu (with tofu), the rockfish, and the cumin beef. I didn’t care for the duck, I expected it to be more like Peking duck but it was not. Despite that the flavors were still good, I liked the fried veggies that came with it. I also didn’t think the cocktails were overly impressive.”

”I was initially attracted to their website hero photo because of the type of vegetables and various cuts of meat shown. We were able to get a table at the last minute. I wasn't going to order a bowl of anything. But when I saw people eating noodles from a big bowl, I changed my mind. I was impressed with the bowl of meat & noodles I received. I wasn't quite expecting the taste and presentation of pork shoulders, pulled pork with BBQ taste wasn't something I expected in a bowl of noodles that looks very much like fusion ramen. After the first taste, I wish I had ordered the braised beef instead. The bone broth, however, was amazing. I also loved just how raw and fresh the vegetables were. My sugar snap peas were definitely locally grown, hardly cooked and very sweet. The choice of the other vegetables were excellent as well, unusual. I couldn't recognize what the egg noodles were trying to be, it didn't have enough chew as Japanese ramen or udon, neither did it resemble other Chinese or Italian egg noodles I am familiar with. There is a a soft boiled egg which I deliberately left in the hot broth for as long as I can and only attacked it once I ate everything else in the bowl. To my surprise, the egg was still cold, soft boiled, but not salty or soy infused. This experience left me wanting to visit a ramen restaurant ASAP. The highlight for me is taking the remaining bone broth home and tasting it again the next evening. My partner ordered the Medium Salad with smoked Kirsop Farm Chicken. I can tell he didn't enjoy it, especially when he declared that he does not want to repeat that experience. Ruby Rink is closed on Mondays, so, I am prevented from trying other interesting items such as sandwiches and country pork pate. The servers and host were all very friendly and provided excellent service. I agree with their philosophy and if I lived on Vashon, this would be my regular stop.”

”Nice quiet place to eat. The food was awesome. Customer service is the best! I had the vegan veggie noodle soup, tons of flavor. My Son liked the drink options. Place is clean and inviting. With an outside main lobby bathroom available with handicapped ramp available.we came back a second time. The lady is amazing by far the best! She remembered us from a month ago, even remembered My Son’s favorite drink. Her interaction with her customers is impressive and outstanding!”

”The place has nice outside seating and we just found it walking around. The drinks are strong! Order a cocktail just do it! 😏 the pomegranate drink with gin was really good. Ordering for two I would suggest to order 2 of the small plates and one entree to share. The peppercorn will make your mouth numb and if you prefer food with less hot spices make sure you get some rice to have a bite in between. I would recommend the Dan Dan noodles and the grandma potatoes. We also tried the fried chicken which was very spicy and the spicy eggplants but I think those dishes you can get in a lot of places with the same quality but the DanDan noodles and the potatoes were special. Would recommend it if you are into spicy food. We tried more of their dishes this time and I would recommend the new watermelon salad on their menu!”

”This pho spot has been close to my heart for fifteen years! The people working there are so sweet and welcoming, the food comes out incredibly fast, and on a cold rainy day their pho just hits different. My usual order is the shrimp fresh rolls and the veggie pho, but I’ve tried their seafood pho and chicken pho and those are divine as well. No complaints and the quality has not changed in a decade.”
