“Stumbled upon this place on vacation while walking on Main Street. The vibe here is super unique, interesting and cool. They have a large craft cocktail menu, with house made syrups, flavoring etc. The food and service were also fantastic. We shared the chicken caprese with truffle fries, and the arugula goat cheese flatbread. If you want something other than a run of the mill restaurant, this is your place.”

Gejo's Original

“GeJo's Italian is a hidden gem that serves great Italian food with friendly service. We happened upon GeJo's while driving down the street and decided to give it a try. We tried the homemade egg noodles with meatballs and I was supper excited to find a restaurant serving up these home made noodles. The homemade noodles have a heartier texture to them and are thicker than a traditional spaghetti. The meatball was excellent with a great texture, flavor and size. With our pasta we also got two side salads and it made a perfect meal. The side salads were done right with a nice combination of vegetables and the dressing was served on the side. We also do not want to forget giving a shout out to the garlic knots which were soft and covered with a generous portion of garlic butter. Some of the best garlic knots I have had in Denver. Out waiter was very friendly and helpful. We learned about the history of GeJo's, which is a great history. They were also attentive to the weather as we were sitting outside. A storm started to blow in so the shut down the sides of the outdoor eating section. In Colorado fashion the storm moved through quickly and they reopened the sides as soon as the wind had passed.”

”We enjoyed a football watching Sunday here and absolutely loved it. Harvey did a super job of greeting us and gettting us all set upstairs to watch the game. The salad and soup buffet was excellent! Kit and his staff are extremely accommodating and super friendly! Great food, great atmosphere, and cold beer...couldn't ask for a better day!!”

Country Thai

”Got Country Thai for the first time last night and everything was pretty good. The appetizers sampler was a good choice! It came with Chicken skewers, Thai dumplings, egg roll and crab Rangoon. Everything was well cooked very tasty. The peanut sauce that came with it was rich and creamy with robust flavors. I also had the Thai fried rice. It was okay. Nothing fancy. Not sure what the difference would be between the regular and the Thai fried rice is, maybe the seasoning. Next I got the shrimp and basil with extra vegetables. The sauce is very good. Unfortunately the shrimp is served tail on which to me is gross. I hate having to pick out the shrimp, remove the tail and either put it back in to get the sauce and veggie combo that creates a good bite, or eat it separately from everything. I was also disappointed with the portion size. For $19 plus it wasn't very big, especially since I paid an extra $3 for additional vegetables. I can't imagine how small the portion is with the normal amount of vegetables. Besides the tail on shrimp and small portion i still think it tasted very good and was extremely happy with the spice of the sauce. (Hot) overall it was pretty good. I would recommend giving it a try. 8/1”

”Thai food is regional, so I get really nervous about trying a new Thai place, but Sunflower tastes just like the food I lived on for almost a year in Thailand, and I'm so excited. We happened in and couldn't help but order both the pineapple fried rice and yellow curry- both were fabulous. The yellow curry is gluten free which was nice bc that's not always been the case. Naturally paired with a chang beer for the adult and the pink milk for the teen. This will be go-to for Thai. The young woman who helped us was so cool and very helpful. The restaurant was clean, and comfortable. (And yeah, that robot is adorable)”

”Pork egg rolls were great. Dumplings were dry and the dipping sauce was way way too spicy. Honestly....children would bawl if they tried this dipping sauce. Why?! Chicken sesame contained quality ingredients but the dish was much too spicy. I've never had sesame chicken that was too peppery hot. I cannot enjoy food like that and I'm not a wimp to spicy food. The chicken lo mein was flavorful and the ingredients were also quality but the entire dish was just dry.”

”Yum! Everything I order is always delicious and fresh! I usually order the combo Pho. My last visit I tried something new ordered the stuffed chicken wings.. Amazing! They stuff two large wings, deep fry, then slice them. The wings are served with the same veggies as the eggrolls: lettuce, cucumber, herbs, marinated carrots and dip…. Highly recommend!”
