“Friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of drinks bar and kitchen bar seating. Can get a bit loud. Food came out quick. Gyoza and fries were a bit greasy, but acceptably so. Ramen was generous with a good selection of vegetables but a bit on the blander side. Drinks were strong and well balanced.”

“Really high quality sushi with simple design. Price is pretty hefty but the rolls are really good especially the eel and rainbow rolls. A bit of a wait if you arrive right as they open. Recommend ordering the rolls and the short ribs. Squid is okay, shrimp skewers are not worth it. The terrayaki salmon is pretty good, and the katsus are all definitely very crispy but I would order raw fish if I were here as that is definitely their specialty.”

“Fast service, fast food. Literally sat down and had my food writhing 5 minutes. Taste was okay. Had the spicy broth was told it was middle spicy. At first you don’t feel it but then it creeps slowly up on you. Would say it is definitely low …”

“Great customer service, good food. Best japanese restaurant in the area so far. Price is not bad.”

“Came here on a not so busy night. Ordered 2 specialty rolls and some Takoyaki for an appetizer. The rolls were delicious! But, the Takoyaki was still frozen in the center. I told the waiter and he took them away with an apology. The check came shortly after and they still charged me for the Takoyaki. I don't feel like arguing with anyone, so I just paid in full then left. I hope the extra $8.95 was worth losing a local customer. The most expensive ball of Takoyaki I've ever had to date.”

“Very reliable and simple Japanese restaurant right off of shaddock. We live nearby and frequent this place. It’s pretty simple Japanese dishes, but it’s all executed well with good ingredients at a reasonable price. The atmosphere depends a little on where you sit. The color temperature on their light fixtures are not consistent and you could get stuck under a colder (bluish hue) light, which isn’t ideal. There is sometimes an out door table or two, which is great if you have a dog. Overall - it is a passable ambiance. Service is solid with friendly staff. Overall - it’s a good spot. We keep coming back.”

“Great seafood, though it is rather expensive. The portion sizes are all small, so be prepared to order multiple dishes if you want a full meal. Everything was delicious, though, and our waiter was very helpful and friendly.”

“Ordered from the lunch menu with 3 options - beef teriyaki, spicy salmon roll, and chicken katsu. Comes with soup and salad. The food was good and decent portions. Also got the fish tacos which were very different and good.”

“Their menu got changed recently and became not as great as before. Some expensive nigiris are now unlimited but with extra costs to order them. Some items are removed, like oysters. Love their service.”
