“Rose Canyon Cantina, is one of the magical hideaway places, away from the city, tucked into the hills with a beautiful natural surrounding. Approaching from the outside, it is a colorful restaurant with a large outdoor expansive deck shaded by large majestic trees and umbrellas. The trees are wrapped in strings of lights, making it feel even more enchanting at night. The water features, from the water fountain in front, to the really large waterfall in the back are spectacular. The check in lobby area is small, but quaint and welcoming. The interior again proudly displays its colors, from the beautiful pictures, to the brightly lit bar displaying all the bottles and under lit green glow around the seating. The staff is professional and friendly. I originally asked to dine in but quickly changed my mind after surveying the ambience out back. Once seated, I ordered their Signature happy hour margarita and decided upon a two item combination dinner to sample their fish taco and beef flauta. My +1 decided upon enchiladas with spinach and shrimp. After ordering, I excitedly began taking pictures of the surroundings. Our order arrived in a short amount of time and the servers were fantastically attentive in providing drinks, water or anything else you might need. The food was hot and looked delicious. The items looked fresh and carefully made and authentic. The quality of the food was incomparable and high above any large chain Mexican restaurant. The food was savory and scrumptious. I especially enjoyed my visit to Rose Canyon Cantina, from the backwoods drive through the hills going past Cook's Corner to this hidden little gem with extraordinary authentic Mexican fare. This is one of those places you hesitate to tell too many others about, but plan to visit often.”

For example, with the price they need more portions for sides the sides need to balance with the amount of meat that you get, besides the sides are the cheapest on the plate. I don't think the cornbread should be a side, it should complementary like when get dinner rolls or bread from the other restaurants. Because of the cost it will be awhile before we go back. Overall the meat was fabulous top notch. Also, it's very loud because of the acoustics and the tables are too small with all the plates and drinks I couldn't put my plate on the table all the way because there wasn't enough room!”

”Ate at Grams for the first time. My friend chose this place to dine at. I’m usually a creature of habit and stick to my go to favorite KBBQ joints: Zip in Tustin, or Shik Do Rak. I was pleased with the dining experience here. Food quality and choices of meat options were great based on the menu set options. We went with the Premium AYCE B menu. It was good. My favorites were the sliced beef belly, sliced brisket, and sliced beef tongue. Servers were nice and attentive. Will be returning to Grams in the future.”

”Loved the place!! We sat outside on a Saturday around 1:30 pm to enjoy the weather! Very nice atmosphere. We had a party of 16 and we did called for reservations. Tables were already set when we got there. Waitress was very attentive and helpful, took all of our orders and all orders came out accurate. Food was ready in about 15 minutes or so. They also have seating inside plus bar seating and TV’s and the walls. My Double Joe Burger with bacon was very good, it tasted fresh, crispy bacon and delicious and juicy burger patty. As far as I know, everyone enjoyed their food as well. No complaints at all.”

I love the food and atmosphere is incredibly stylish and transports you to Hawaii (which is why it is still getting three stars). The burger is incredible. Any of the fried rices are delicious and the presentation is fantastic. The macaroni salad is light and not too much mayo with a solid vinegar hint which is the way i love macaroni salad. Fries are fabulous too. That being said, the service has been sub par. The staff seems incredibly green and often confused except one server/bartender who was very helpful. I’ve come four times before writing this review each time hoping the service would get better and each time it got a bit worse. I’m going to come back again in a month and re-rate it again and hopefully by then the service has improved. I’m rooting for you Royal Hawaiian!!!”

”Not sure if they picked the right location for this type of restaurant on Main Street in Garden Grove. Interior decor and the building itself is quite modern stylish design. The bar itself is nicely stocked and well appointed. They have a brunch menu and a dinner menu that feel different. Lunch menu was Asian fusion yes. Dishes were pretty good. Enjoyed the shrimp spring roll and the ox tail stew. Next time i may try dinner menu. Not sure why but this restaurant seems to be out of place in this location. Just my personal opinion.”

”I was told the peanut butter ones were the best. I'm not a fan of peanut butter but I have to say they were very good. However I am more into spicy and the regular Buffalo were good and the fire ones are super. We also ordered the lemon pepper and were very pleased with all options. I love that there is inside seating and outside sitting as well. We also ordered the Buffalo tender fries and they were amazing. Needless too say we ordered too much food but how else will you know what you really want for the next time, right? I have to say it will be a tough decision. Parking is not an issue and the restroom were nice and clean. Service was really good. Will have to come back soon!”
